Geowhizzer

Finally watched Wedding Crashers last night.

I have to agree with those that said it was hilarious.  Best comedy I've seen in a long time.

Wedding Crashers is very funny but as someone else mentioned earlier, it looses a lot of it's luster and humor after the 2nd or 3rd viewing.  But I agree that it's one of the better comedies to come in over the last several years.

I'm guessing you watched it on TBS, though?
Gotta watch it un-edited...

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

watched wanted last night. it was awesome. not awesome as in it was profound but awesome as in best R rated action movie ive seen in a long long time. probably the best action movie since the matrix.

it doesnt make much sense and its over the top. but its good. plus i love me some angelina jolie even if she looked too skinny in most scenes.

i think everyone here will love the keyboard scene. 3 out of 5.

Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

Just watched Guillermo Del Torro's The Devil's Backbone. It was excellent. His use of children as protagonists and his mix of the supernatural with gory violence is really effective and makes for powerful movies.

Wall E - 4/5 - I couldn't stop laughing at all the fat people in their floating chairs

I'm planning on taking my kids to see Wall E next weekend at a local drive in.  It's amazing how the concept of watching a movie from your car baffled the living crap out of them.  Neither one of them has ever even heard of a drive in movie.....unless you're talking about watching a dvd inside the car.

Of course, they'll be up on the roof watching the movie while I'll be doing the hibity jibity with my g/f in the back seat.

Git yo popcorn rdy!

I grew up a mile and a half from a drive in theater that still operates.  They've got a fantastic flea market on Sunday mornings through the summer.  One of the happiest nights of my life was had after walking down there, sneaking into the theater, meeting a girlfriend who was a senior when I was a sophomore--she was hot as balls--in high school, and covered in a blanket in the bed of a small toyota pickup, making out for like an hour straight.

Is that the one about sitting on your hand for 5 minutes before using it to beat off?

Took my two boys to see Get Smart today.  It was exactly what you would expect - silliness, goofball humor.  I enjoyed it.  For the type of comedy it was (non-raunchy), I think it was pretty solid.  4/5
