A couple of things... Orlando beat the Cavs 2-1 in the season series including an embarrassing 29 point blow out a few weeks ago.  If Orlando plays the sort of defense they're capable of playing then they have a real shot at beating the Lebrons.

Reality is the NBA wants Lebron in the Finals more than the NHL wants Crosby there so the Magic have zero chance against them.  And by "them" I mean Stern and his whores.

if this was true how in the farg are the knicks so bad and why have the #1 team in the nba been irrelevant for a decade?

lebron is obviously a massive upgrade over a meaningless team like orlando, but his draw isnt really that big. its not like tiger vs. non tiger golf stuff. the nba would rather see boston/la again.

obviously, the nba would "want" it's biggest franchises (la/bos/ny) making finals appearances.  it only makes sense that they would want that.  it's good for business.  but they don't fix their games to get those match ups and any suggestion that they do is hilarious.

Actually, that's not fair. The NBA is finally starting to move away from the one-man-show, single-star, thug-life nonsense that has driven it into the ditch over the past 15 years or so, but I'm still going to mock it so just shut up.
