He's an American master, one of the best ever.  Check him out with Taj Mahal from 1964, in a band called The Rising Sons.  He was 17 at the time, and already recognized as one of the best guitarists in the business.  Taj was only 22 or so, and also already kicking ass.

He sounds fantastic.  One of the most distinctive guitarists ever.  Stick to hip hop and Boss worship.  Outside of that, you're in over your head.

well i couldnt tell you a good guitarist from a terrible one so you are probably correct
