In the 3rd. You know things are looking up when we beat Minnesota  After todays game I think it's time to put PSU in the top 25. Rest of the schedule is brutal, though. I'd call it a successful season if we lost the rest of our games but somehow beat OSU and Michigan

Colin Cowherd can suck a fat one after saying we have absolutely no shot to win this game. He basically guaranteed a Minnesota V.

Great victory today.  My thoughts:
1) It is great to see State running the ball.  Gotta love the bizzaro qb-wishbone plays.
2) The defense just owned.   
3) Robinson has no business throwing the ball for this team.  None.  Make him a RB, a WR...I don't care.  But get a farging qb who can hit a wide farging open tight end.

That's all I have to say about that.

The way Robinson injured Owens by putting his head down on the sideline leads me to believe he has a shot to be drafted as a RB.  Anyway, quite the unexpected statement made today.  Let's see if this team is competitive with Ohio State next week.

Roll eyes all you want. Lawrence Maroney is the best running back in the Big Ten. MB III is the second-best. We brutalised a decent team in Toledo. 42 points in the first half, 63 at the end and gave them two late touchdowns. 704 yards of total offense, 415 on the ground, Cupito goes 10-of-12 for 279 yards (that's 27.9 ypc, btw). SKI-U-MAH.

Just thought I'd bump this:

Maroney got shut the farg down today. 16 carries for 48 yards 3.0 YPC.

Penn State's 5-0 right now.  That's one better than the 4-1 record I predicted before the season started.

Now's where the rubber hits the road.  If they go 3-3 the last six games with the schedule they have left, it would be a major, major accomplishment.  In any event, they're pretty certain to break the top 25 now.  If they don't, it's a traveshamockery.
