For the glory of Old State
For her founders, strong and great
For our future that we wait
Raise the song, raise the song

You know the words?  I'm ashamed of you.

Wow, didn't realize that this thread started last year.  Makes sense now why it's so big.  I love quoting year-old posts.

Yes, I learned the words.  My fraternity made the pledges memorize them.

It would have been much less painful if they'd just paddled us.

I love being reminded again and again why I didn't join a frat...

Is it because you preferred to be more discerning when choosing the men with whom you'd often perform blatantly homoerotic acts of "unity", or because slutty sorority girls made you limp?

Wow. Didn't realize just how frat you are. How sad.

I have always been adept at making friends and meeting women without the burden of 'dues' to force the issue. I also was more than happy to rush for the free beer and drink at apartment parties the rest of the time before I was of age. Once I was of age I was more than happy to hit the dozens of bars in state college and host parties of my own. Beering and womanizing was never a problem. As for people to hang out with, I played on the club lacrosse team, worked at a restaurant but more importantly I am downright entertaining to be around. I'm nothing if not charming.

I'm not sure which is more gay, not joining a frat, or living in a house full of dudes. Eating, drinking, sleeping, living with those same dudes every day. Oh wait, yes, I do know which one is more gay.

I never lived in the frat's "house", and I wasn't in a social "roofie-dropping" fraternity.

I just wanted to see how you'd respond.

Well. Mission accomplished I guess.

So today begins a new era of PSU football :D if they don't win this game by 30 points or so look for another long season.

PSU looks like crap again, mainly because of their offensive line.  Their skill positions look good but without an o-line theny are farged.  At least the freshman look like they are the real deal.  The defense is also as good as advertised.  However, it is still likely going to be a long season based on their first half performance.

Michael Robinson makes me want to self-immolate.  It's Wally Richardson all over again.

I agree.

This game should be a blowout.  >:(

PoopyfaceMcGee

The OL seemed to get better as the game went on, and receivers were getting open... but Robinson is simply not a passing QB.  He is below average from the pocket and runs 99% of the time when he has to escape the pocket.

SD_Eagle5

Fumbling the ball every other play doesn't help either.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Like I said... Wally Richardson.
