Whatever happened with Devlin and his verbal to Miami?  Did he ever withdrawl that or was it all talk?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

He considered it but I haven't heard anything new, so it sounds like he's staying with the U...

PSU still needs a few more top recruits in the secondary and for the D-Line, which I think they'll get.

They're going to return none of the starting secondary and, I think, none of the starting DL.  The LB's will still be solid, with Connor and Posluzny still leading the way for one more year.

The offensive skill players outside of Robinson are basically all coming back.  Might need a few bodies for the OL.

Supposedly they're nowhere near done yet and might get at least 4 commits (maybe more) during the All-American game next month...

I'm not sure if you got it mixed up with the D line, but I think the starting O line was all seniors.  This is my #1 concern for PSU next year.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

this is why logan el is by far the most important recruit this year...hes a man beast and the only potential recruit that has a chance to start next year...in fact most if not all the recruits from this class wont play next year much less start...so if youre looking for these kids to help make up for the losses they will have this year youre in for a rude awakening...

that said the class is shaping up as a very good to potentially great one and may help them make a run at a nc in 07/08

I think that there are maybe 2 underclassmen on both lines combined.

Sounds like McCoy's visit last week didn't go well because it was mostly about academics and getting his grades up instead of talking football the whole time.  Apparently his grades aren't good enough to get into a major school next year...

NGM

Damn that sucks, I wanted him to go to PSU more than anyone.  He should just go to HACC for a year then transfer to State College.

You need 1 ounce of smarts to learn Galen Hall's offense.  Seems like McCoy doesn't.

Odrick announces today at 3:30.  PSU is the favorite, with Georgia being the main contender...

BigEd76

An ESPN high school recruiting "expert" claimed in a chat today that PSU is no longer interested in McCoy.  We'll see....
