according to joe pa the coaching staff would not have been able to give them the attention they would deserve with the game being at night...they lost rickerson because of this...tho its highly debated whether they ever had a shot with him

got a break with logan el coming up on an unofficial because his hs game was rained out...who knows if it was emotion taking over or if he was being sincere but he immediately put ups number one on his list...logan el is the key to this class....with ups losing their entire o line next year they need him in the worst way...kid is gonna be in the nfl one day and would start as a tru freshman...hes that good

anyway about the cancellations...i thought it was kind of ridiculous...but in the end the win is bigger than anything else right now...but the win + the official visits=  ;D

damn IGY, you sound pretty plugged in to the goings on for their recruiting.

i would move you even higher up on my list of heroes, but you can't get any higher than #1

One of them is the 39th-ranked strongside DE on Rivals:

Eric Latimore

Depending on what you read, he's either 6'7" 250 or 6'5" 240, and he plays for a top team in Delaware...

In other news, Paul Posluszny became the first Big Ten player ever to win either the offensive, defensive, or special teams award from the conference three weeks in a row by winning the Big Ten Defensive player of the week award AGAIN.

He's pretty good.

QuoteBob (Chicago, IL): Hey Ivan - With the latest debacle in Ann Arbor, is it time for a major 'philosophy' change at Michigan. Doesn't it seem that Michigan plays not to lose instead of trying to win games?

SportsNation Ivan Maisel: (3:29 PM ET ) I'm getting a lot of plaintive wailing from the 'Rines. I'm not going to call for Lloyd's head, or any other part of his anatomy. They have had some tough injuries. My only question about Michigan is that it is very much an inbred place. You need fresh ideas. Look at Penn State since Galen Hall returned to run the offense. Yes, JoePa signed some talented freshmen. But now they know what to do with them.

Penn State's offense is almost the pure opposite of what it was.  Somewhere in the middle might be better to beat Michigan, I think.

oxymoron

miami offered him so thats enough for me...looks like a kid that has a monster upside...but could also be bullied by big time college football players

Paterno: "four or five recruits committed over the weekend" :yay

Committed what?  Suicide?  Committed to a whacky ward?

Nits are 3 point road dogs in the Big House.

Maybe parlay that and the Irish.

I wouldn't do that if I were you.  Penn State hasn't beaten the Wolves since 1996.
