I'm surprised that they left the bell up there even during the start of deconstruction. You'd think that'd be one of the first things to be taken out of there after the seats.

My God, I simply can't believe tha Shea Stadium is on of the oldest ballparks around!

The mets really need a new stadium.  It gets dumpier every year.  the seats and vision lines are horrible.  You can only paint over everything blue and orange so many times.

Implosion of Vet set for next month

The Phillies held a meeting yesterday and, according to a source close to the team, determined that Veterans Stadium will be imploded early on March 21.

The club moves into its new home, Citizens Bank Park, in April.
