I don't watch a minute of college ball, so the first I ever heard of Hurts was when he was drafted.  If you recall, the camera crew went to his family and he was deadpan.  No emotion.  Knowing nothing about him, I read that as disappointment.  In truth, it was "challenge accepted, time to work."  Boss mfer, such a pleasure to root for.

Yep that's mostly how he's been. You'd see some emotion from him during games, like here, but not overtly so. Hell he was benched for Tua and when Bama won, with Tua at QB, he was one of the first to come congratulate him.

He's wired different and I love that about his make-up.

Rome

Pretty sure everyone knows the coach's kid story, but in my experience a lot of them are arrogant iceholes when coach/dad isn't around.  He seems like the complete opposite of that.   Dude has a fire in his belly, though.  He just acts like he's been there and done that like Unitas.

Dio is right.  So easy to cheer for the guy.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
