Unfortunate situation.  Mathews has skills but you're no good to the club if you can't stay out of the tub.

but even if you didnt watch just listen to him talk for two minutes and you can see he isnt equipped to teach kindergarten

To be fair, most NFL players aren't equipped to be in kindergarten so your point is kind of invalid.

yeah but the morons dont usually get promoted to head coach....in fact pederson wasnt even thought of highly enough to be brought above the high school level by anyone other than andy reid and even that was as forty something year old quality control coach

Reid was awful in his first year too and he had a much better core to work with than Pederson had, especially on defense.

I'd say Pederson was much better than the walrus was, actually.

andy is/was a super competent head coach who was a below average in game decision maker....doug is a complete buffoon

Rome

How can you be super competent and a gameday fargup?

ice grillin you

cause andy is tremendous at running a team and he is a great prep and practice guy...theres a lot more to coaching than just between the whistles...he just has in game issues

401pm sunday to 1259pm sunday = A+
100pm sunday to 400pm sunday = D+

overall = B-/C+

above average/competent whatever you wanna call it you dont win that many games and not be at minimum competent

what happens if they didnt have a 100 sunday game
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

is it after a bye week?

he was pretty good at those

QB Eagles

I think some people have simply forgotten how bad Doug is. It's been a long offseason. He's a super terrible coach who directly cost them a bunch of games, and probably will again this year too.

I gave the guy a shot, but yeah, he's done.  The players deserve better and so do we.  Not gonna happen, though.

MDS

off the top of my head why they lost games
lions - matthews fumble
wash - vaiti
dal - doug
nyg - doug
sea - agholor
wash - injuries at rt
cin - everyone
bal - going for 2 but it was the right call
gb - aaron rodgers

clearly 2 games...3 is if you want to blame him for viati starting which is fair, but the alternative was like matt tobin or something....4 if you are going to get technical about the play call on the ravens 2 pt play

Sgt PSN

I'm not on the dougie train by any means, but I'm still sticking to my guns about him treating last year like a 16 game preseason, which is why he made so many crazy decisions, especially on 4th down.

I don't say this because I think he's the next Bill Walsh...or even the next Andy Reid, but because I don't want to believe that anyone that stupid can actually exist.

ice grillin you

the toss sweep to matthews against detroit with him seven yards deep in the backfield was dumb as farg....doesnt abstain matthews from the fumble but the play call was horrific and put him in a position to fail

also games like dallas and the giants he completely lost his mind on numerous occasions....yes it only counts as one loss but dallas in particular felt like three different losses because of him

lol at carson wentz being the lead blocker on that reverse against the giants
