I didn't like the slant pattern, would have had Wentz roll out so if the receivers not open maybe he can use his legs and dive it in.

this was my thought too but doug thought theyd be in zero so he called something quick. on replay it was the right call. wentz wasnt going to be able to go anywhere outside the pocket.....his pass was just tipped. oh well.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I would've had Ryan Matthews in there and spread the WRs out and let him try to batter it in behind Peters

you dont run into a zero blitz.

on replay i think he wouldve had ertz if they didnt run the back in the same area as him, but wentz went first read and got the ball out more quickly than he needed to. still couldve gone through one more progression, though in that stage i cant blame him for assuming the time wouldnt be there

Don Ho

I agree going for two was the correct call.  It was a zesty play call and even shteintier pass.  Would have been nice for Wentz's psyche and maturation to get the W but hey 5-9, 6-8 I'll sleep just fine tonight.

The real question that needs to be answered, how was the game? Did Dio kill anyone?

With love.  I killed with love.  I may do it again some day, in Philly no less.
