I was talking to my buddy last night who's a huge Giants fan. The Giants might not succeed in the regular season but they have the formula to win in the post season. They're not overly weak at any position, they have a great pass rush, their D coordinator schemes to their strengths, and they have a clutch QB. The Eagles have a nice pass rush and not much else.

I agree with the scheming of the defense - and we all know that is a weakness with the Eagles. But that doesn't mean that they're a finesse defense at all. The Eagles have a nice pass rush, two good corners and a solid MLB. If Kendricks plays like he has shown he can and the safeties are adequate then they will be fine - provided Mr OL Coach doesn't screw up too bad.

So it's your contention that Vick is going to have a career year? I just don't see it. I see him running for his life too much and making bad decisions.

The zesty part about this team is when you watch the D you can see the individual talent but the schemes and D as a whole is still awful. They have the makings to be a very good D but Juan ain't the man for the job.

i have no idea....im hoping he has a good enough year to get the team to the playoffs and then make enough plays in the postseason where things will finally bounce their way and they win it all

my only point is thats how they will win it....im not saying the defense can be the worst in the nfl or anything and the eagles win the sb but it can be middle of the nfl because their offense has more than enough weapons to carry the team

Wow - I couldn't disagree more on a few things.

I think the NFC is the stronger conference this year. There are two strong teams in the East and while I think Dallas is weak, they're a fringe team. Three of the North teams are strong and the South was the toughest to pick because I could see Tampa going worst to first in that division. The West has two strong teams as well, I believe.

As for the finesse comment - with such an aggressive DL, all of whom can get off the snap quick and get after the QB, I don't see how they fall into that finesse category. They're underwhelming at the WLB and S positions but finesse isn't a term I'd use to describe them as a unit.

Ryans was dumped by Houston because he isn't a 3-4 guy. To say you've seen enough based on a limited PS is crazy.

I'll give you the 49ers, but who else? Cardinals have no QB, Rams suck, and so do the Seahawks.

i do agree the nfc is the superior conference this year....of the top 10 teams in the nfl seven of them are in the nfc
