Why? Because I think Kolb has not looked good? Or because I think people should wait before dropping to their knees to anoint him the savior from the 'horribly inaccurate choker who is better off out of town'?

you are looking for any reason to kill him

what you should be is excited and optimistic because we know have an unproven, question mark of a qb instead of a corny, spiteful choking dog. he may be good, he may not but in the least this should be fun.

you are expecting him to be bobby hoying and cant wait for it to happen.

Wrong on all accounts.

I think they made a mistake. I hope I am wrong because I want to enjoy the football season. I am not a spiteful hater. And if he does succeed then I will be right there cheering him on. I won't be like the McNabb haters who picked on every little thing that happened.

MDS

if you dont get it now there is no hope
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

So you blame the failures solely on McNabb and glad he is gone. You believe it was time to go with Kolb.

I think the opposite.

And let me say something else; Kolb is no rookie. He needs in-game experience, but he is no wet behind the ears rookie. So I expect more from him than had they drafted a guy and threw him in there.

MDS

they cant win a super bowl until 2012 if even then

dont expect anything mr. expectations

Forgive me for expecting them to win.

MDS

hope is different than expectations

they arent good enough to win anything more than 8 games right now

it would be the same deal if they kept 5

They way the o-line looks right now, 8 games might be a stretch. And as far as waiting for someone to be cut, or a trade, there probably won't be anything out there better than they have now. No one will be trading o-line depth unless they have a glaring need, and there isn't any position on this team that is deep enough to trade anyone for help. Shaun Andrews would have been the best option out there, thats why the Giants picked him up.

I know it's only three preseason games, but the o-line should be getting their stuff together right now. Vanilla play calling has nothing to do with blocking up front. You either do it or you don't. If Kolb can't get comfortable, it's gonna' be a long season. McNabb was good at rolling out and improvising. Kolb needs to be able to make his reads, and not have to worry about getting rid of the ball after three steps every time he drops back.

I don't care if it's pre-season or not, right now it looks baaaad.

QB Eagles

It doesnt help the situation that they don't seem to have an RB capable of picking up a blitz.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

smeags

this o-line is farging horrible. wouldn't matter if peyton was back there this line can't block for shtein. that's stating the obvious i know but it can't be said enough.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.
