Well, since this is a local government thing, there are people who are responsible to represent your point of view.  Maybe you should pick up the phone and give them a call?

This isn't the NFL (private) or a federal (your opinion is too small to count) issue.  This is one of the rare instances where you can do something and have it matter.

this is an interesting article for anybody who buys Eagles tickets, or any kind of tickets for that matter.  however, i found this blurb towards the end very interesting...

Pennsylvania is in the midst of changing its current ticket reselling laws to allow for the unrestricted resale of tickets over the Internet. At the moment, only licensed brokers can legally resell tickets in the state, and only at a fixed percentage above face value. Just over a week ago, New York State legalized unrestricted ticket reselling and the Pennsylvania plan would mark a similar measure.

that's actually a really big deal for anybody who wants to just buy Eagles tickets and sell them on Ebay.  it's another factor that would lead to people never giving up their season tickets.

isnt it funny its always some piss ant little town or city who brings up these moronic ideas about scamming the taxpayers for more money. Especially when they wont even be affected. What the hell do they have to worry about in Allgheny County?? But its nice to see Rendell sticking up for the little man by removing all scalping laws!!

i will be unbelievably pissed if this happens...and in fact have already written a letter to the eagles...rendell...michael stack and vince fumo

one thing id like to know and am going to call the eagles on monday to find out is will this ten % apply to season tickets and game plans...often these kinds of taxes and fees only apply to individual tickets

getting to an eagles home game seems very difficult to pay anything close to face value...i'll be in dc again this year for the eagles game.  $400 for two tickets...the food club thing before the game... cheaper alcohol than the stadium...and a parking pass...also the seats are in the lower bowl.  it's f'ing ridiculous to find a reasonable price ticket for a home game.
