i always wanted to be baseball player or football.  i was an awesome athlete through high school, i just started hanging out with the wrong crowd in 8th grade.  quit sports...started drugs.  i still got straight A's in gym, even though i was a long-haired stoner who could compete with the jocks. i orginally wanted to be an architect, but bad math grades, drugs and art classes got me into painting, photography and art in general.  ended up winning a bunch of awards in high school for art and then went on to become a graphic designer.  i am pretty happy with my job, it has its ups and downs like any job. im not sure if it is something i want to do the rest of my life, but for now its a start.  i do regret not playing sports in high school...i miss that so much.

As a little kid I had the typical aspirations....firefighter, police officer, etc.  When I got a little older I wanted to be a baseball or basketball player.  Then I found out I sucked at sports.   Then when I was 14 I was at the KOP Plaza and saw a Marine walking around in his dress uniform.  I think he was a reservist and was there for a Toys for Tots drive.  Anywho, he was a PFC and uglier than a dog's ass but he had 4 or 5 hotties standing around him and I made my mind up that's what I wanted to do.

Ironically I spent most of my childhood wanting to be a baseball player. Was pretty good for a skinny kid, traveling teams, blah blah blah. Then I discovered lacrosse and realized that baseball was for girls. Since then I've more or less just wanted to be drunk and smart enough to earn a living without trying too hard.

Mission accomplished.

i thought being a gyno would be fun when i was young, until i realized that most women are there because they have cooch fungus.

doing annual checkups would still be fun though.

QuoteSomething else concerns me and it hurts, see I'm, I'm single, I'm a single man, I don't have nobody, I'm looking for somebody and- but I'm meeting a lot of women out there, and you got some beautiful women, but you got some out there that, uh, I gotta say somethin'. Um... some of you are not washing your ass properly. (laughter & applause) OK? Don't- don't get me wrong, not all, some of you, you know what I'm sayin', uh... I'm sorry, 'Cause uh, listen, now, I don't know what it is a woman got to do to keep up the hygiene on the body I know, uh, I'm watching douche commercials on television, and I'm wonderin' if some of you are reading the instructions. I don't think so. Y'know, 'cause I'm getting with some of the ladies, smelling odors, going "Wait a minute. (gestures with index finger) Girl, smell this! This you! Smell yourself, girl."

Smell yourself! I tell a woman in a minute, douche! douche! Some women don't like when you tell them that, when you straightforward with them. "Douche!" They, (imitating woman) "Forget you! You cannot douche all the time, you're gonna wash all the natural juices out the body." I say, well, I dont give a damn what you do, put a Tic-Tac in your ass. Put a Cert in your ass. Oh, oh, y'know, this look like a good damn place for a Stick-up up in your ass.

I'm sorry, y'all. You got to wash properly. You know, and then, you know, 'cause I'm a man, I like to kiss on women, you know, I like to kiss all over their bodies, you know. But if you're not clean in your proper areas I can't... you know... kiss all over the places I wanna kiss. You know, some women'll let you go down, you know what I'm sayin', knowin' they got a yeast infection. (Some audience disgust) I'm sorry. Sorry. Come up with dough all on your damn lip... Got a bagel and a croissant on your lip. "Anybody got any butter?" I like jelly on mine.

I wanted to be a musician, Pilot, Fireman and all that jazz. I still play at music on the side, and I joined the Navy to become aircrew, so at least I flew. Instead of sitting up front I had to sit in the back of the plane though. So that said I guess I accomplished something while accomplishing nothing. YAY!! Somehow I got into IT and it is a living.

It's the part of his Saturday Night Live monologue that has been edited from all repeat airings, got him banned from NBC and almost got the SNL writers fired....

After my baseball career (and talent) proved woefully short, I thought of going into law.  Then I realized that I basically hate lawyers- or at least the stereotype.  Thought of going into youth ministry, then I remembered that I like to eat.  So I decided to stick with the youth theme, combine it with my love for history, and go into teaching.

The pay is not great, but it's a living wage.  I love the teaching part and the relating to kids part.  The parents... well, there's a part of every job that is, shall we say, more challenging than others.

As a kid... I guess I was just like everyone else and wanted to be either a baseball or football player.  I played both for years and was pretty damn good at both.  The only sport that I never considered was basketball, my worst sport. (Insert obligatory black man-basketball joke here)

Once it hit home that football and baseball wasn't going to put a dime in my pocket, I figured the next logical step would be sportscasting.  I could talk about sports for days and people always tell me that I have a great voice so I went in that direction.  Went to school for Radio/TV Communications and got a job in TV production out of college.  Once I got there, I got to see up close all of the "outside" shtein that on-air personalities have to deal with on a regular basis.  That, on top of really growing to like the technical part of the industry... got to be a Technical Director here in Atlanta.

Sort of in line with what I set out to do....

i'm kinda on the same path...or was on the same path, i never dabbled in the world of drugs for more than a few college parties, etc......except i was a math whiz growing up. and i hated math. so i was pushed for a while to go that way. but i was more interested in art. so i chose graphic design, and used my near perfect math SAT score to get into drexel's program.

and being a sports fan, i wanted to combine the two, so i wanted to be the guy who painted sports scenes for baseball and football cards. that never really happened, but i am a graphic designer now, and i enjoy it, i may be one of the few people that actually looks forward to their work most days. it took a few years to work around the field and get all of the monkey/production work lumps out of the way.

and i still paint on the side.
