Curtis and Stallworth are so close in skill level, that it is barely even worth debating. If you replace one with the other, the differences aren't going to be noticeable. If we had Curtis and Stallworth right now, would we be better? Yes. Significantly? No. We would need a receiver like Chad Johnson to make a SIGNIFICANT difference. Stallworth and Curtis makes this receiving corps better, but I don't see it leaps and bounds better, and to me that is what significant is.

Everyone knows the Eagles would not have signed Curtis if Stallworth came back though, so it is moot.

I think right now people are hesitant to declare Curtis either better or as good as Stallworth, because he was a #3 in St Louis and hasn't proven it, and he is white. If Curtis stays on pace, then he will have a way better season in his first year as a full-time starter than Stallworth ever had in his NFL career. Curtis has the tools to be better than Stallworth. Really good hands, fast, good crisp route running. My only worry with him is press coverage. There is absolutely no reason why Curtis can't be better than Stallworth though. The tools are there.

with wr's who can get open they would have beaten gb wash and chi...not only can stallworth get open but hed allow curtis to be going against #2 and 3 corners which would allow him to get open...it would also allow them to stretch the field...all this would mean more points which is all they needed to win those three games

win those three and the eagles are 6-1....not of the belief theyd win the taterskin game?...which is a fair point...then they still are 5-2 and in good shape

you win in the nfl by scoring pts...stallworth (or any other quality wr added to this team) would make a huge difference in that area

They would have beaten Green Bay if I, knowing the farging rules, was the punt returner. They would have beat Chicago if the defense could have held on to the lead when the Bears had 97 yards to go with less than two minutes to go and no timeouts.

I'm sure better WRs would have helped, but that's not why they lost to those teams
