The only way it would have been better is if the team had been good enough to make the playoffs but he got injured and paralyzed right before the playoffs started.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

and they bring his wheel chair to the tunnel for inspiration at the first playoff game, and when the team runs out, they accidentally run over him and trample him to death
