Around the NFL -- Week 7

I farging hate Arizona. 

Every year for the last 3 years or so I've been saying "Hey, Arizona might surprise some people this year."  Now, I'm smart enough to know that they aren't going 12-4 in any of those years but I figured they'd make a run at 8-8 or 9-7 and beat some quality opponents.  And every year they find ways to finish with a top 5 draft pick.  Well, this year was different for me and dispite the offseason signing of Edge and all the drooling that people have done over them, I jumped off the Cardinals return to mediocrity bandwagon and they haven't disappointed me one bit this year.  Although they came really close last week. 

But even with my complete and total lack of faith in their organization to win any meaningful games during the season, even I picked them to win this week against Oakland.  Shame on me. 

Spent $20 on a pick 6 (against the spread, obviously) card. Picked them all right except the Cards/Raiders game. They kept me from earning about $3,000 which would have bought a lot of booze, speedballs, and hookers. Now I hope the Cards lose out and the other Cards lose the World Series.

The Giants aren't that good obviously. They are a 9-7ish team. I see the Eagles finishing 11-5. Obviously the Eagles will piece things together and make a run. HFA is out for the Eagles at this point, but that doesn't matter, we weren't gonna get it anyway with Chicago's pop warner schedule.

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere yet, but can someone explain to me why Roy Williams is the reason the NFL banned the horse collar tackle yet Roy Williams never gets flagged for it?  Tiki Barber drug Williams about 5 yards while he was hanging on the back of Tiki's collar.

i think he didn't get flagged for it because he didn't grab and use his weight to pull Tiki down.  he grabbed Tiki by the jersey in that area, but also grabbed his legs and brought him down that way
