guess it was good they locked Andrews up to a long term deal already.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other saftey played better than Dawkins this year

Kerry Rhodes was a revelation for the Jets.  He reminds me a lot of Dawkins.

Eaglez

Yeah, Kerry Rhodes is going to be good for a long time. He has all the physical tools and he's a pretty smart player.

Shawn Andrews = worth a first round pick

Gallery = taken #1 that year and fizzled; or at least has not lived up to the hype

Man, I remember clamoring for Stephen Jackson with that pick as well when it was announced that the Eagles traded up. Probably would have been a good pick as well.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Jackson will be an all-pro next year.

I'd rather have Andrews/Westbrook then Jackson/Mayberry/Scott Young :paranoid

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Eaglez

Yeah, but at least I'm being honest. When Andrews was drafted I thought he was a fat tub of goo that had bust written all over him. He was close to 400 pounds when they picked him up and out of shape.

I'm just glad that I was terribly wrong.

Oh yeah, I'm not arguing with draft day...when they traded up for him, I was like "yawn, another olineman...great"...but I'm just saying today...I'm glad they picked him.

wonder what art would have to say about this

That Dockery and Thomas are much better and that the only reason Andrews gets so much hype is because one Mediot said so and the rest just followed suit. Oh wait, that would be Bubba's response.
