If it's any consolation....the pH of the stomach is approximately 1.  A solution at that pH will lead to skin blistering after short exposure, and is enough to eat holes through an aluminum canoe.  Nearly everything you swallow will be not alive soon after.

Of course, there's still botulinum toxin to worry about, but that's pretty rare.....
