I used to golf. I'd like to start again someday. I could kill the woods but I blew with the irons except for the PW.

Rome

My buddy's wife bought him a $400 driver for Christmas.  We were playing last Friday and as he teed off, the farging head came flying right off the end of the shaft.

Meanwhile, my other buddy bought his driver at Target for $39 and just after the other clubhead went sailing down the fairway, he steps up and drills one about 275 right down broadway.

:-D

That's why golf is fun to play.  Sure, it's mind-numbingly boring as a game, but still, watching a guy break a $400 club and then watching another dude rip one off with a $39 Target-special is about as good as it gets in the ball-busting department.

Yeah...when I played I was a kid though so I had to go with the "mixed bag' special. I had like 13 different brand names and I think a few didn't even havenames on the clubs. Just plain.

But it was nice when I went to the range or played a round to see the guys who are all pimped out and watch them get beat by a 13-year old.

Maybe this spring is when I get back on the course....
