I don't trust the Eagles with receivers. I just can't. I'll trust them at any other position, but not with receivers. They've made way too many mistakes at that position over the years. I think their evaluation with who is good for their team at WR is very low quality. If the Eagles announce this and don't bring in Warrick I will be extremely disappointed, and I hope he revives his career and plays like an absolute stud just to make the Eagles eat shtein.

All he's going to do is Score TD's....Warrick is overrated, has injury problems, and would not be content being a 4th receiver.  McCants is exactly the type of player i think the eagles could use.  He's young and a Redzone target with NFL experience.  If they get it done im all for it.

ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reports the Philadelphia Eagles are ready to sign free agent WR Darnerian McCants (taterskins). He is expected to land a deal with the team Thursday, Sept. 1. They met with him Wednesday, Aug. 31, and a club official said they have already reached a deal in principle with him, but he still needs to pass a physical.
