According to ESPN, Jamal Lewis might not play in the opener. He wants a new contract before he gets back on the field, but the Ravens want to see him on the field before they give him a new one.

So, the Ravens stick by him while tests positive for drugs TWICE, gets suspended, then  he's in jail for a federal offense, and he misses camp due to being in a halfway house, yet NOW he wants a new deal or he won't play?

He just got released from a halfway house following his prison sentence and on top of that has been hobbled by an ankle injury or something so far this preseason.  The league office should be knocking on Jamal's door right now with a piss cup in their hands because dude is obviously high.

Well, what's the suspension for a 3rd bad test? He got 4 games for the second time he was in violation of the league's substance abuse program....

i know he's a punk-ass.  that's why i drafted him first and Randy Moss 2nd.  I don't know if i'd be willing to say he makes TO look like a saint though.  They're both dumbasses.  The only difference is, one of them wears an Eagles uniform.  If Jamal was wearing green, I'd be rooting for him also.  It's tough separating the two sometimes.

The guy is holding out AFTER the team stuck through him with what he did. That puts him in a much worse category than TO, sorry if you disagree. But I can't sit here and say that TO's big, idiotic mouth is worse than a two time NFL Substance abuse issue plus federal offense for selling coke and jailtime
