I just heard on Fox Sports Radio. It looks like that heart ailment is WAY more serious than first believed.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

At least not until I add him to my list.

I think the Rams winning with Vitt at the helm, despite playing without 4 starters, had as much to do with this as Martz's heart.

And as usual, the call on the field stands. Martz is permanently charged a time-out.

It takes a lot to voluntarily pry an NFL coach from his job. I think Martz is dying.

Where he's going, he never has to coach defense. And I don't mean San Francisco.

PhillyPhanInDC

They were just saying on PTI that during the game, Martz tried to phone in a play to Vitt, and they wouldn't let the call go through.  :-D :-D :-D

Martz: "Run this play."

Guy Answering Phone: "Sorry Mr. Martz, we can't let your call go through."

Martz: "Motherfarger!"

Guy Answering Phone: "Jeez dude, don't get all heartbroken over it."

HA!

Old news but an update nonetheless.

After stating he'd retire, the least Martz could've done is retire and come back like George Foreman and Larry Holmes did.

QuoteRams | Martz not Happy about Being Stopped from Play Call

The Associated Press reports St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz harshly criticized team management and said he didn't know if he could coexist with the team's president of football operations. Jay Zygmunt stopped a representative for Martz at the door of the coaches' booth during Sunday's game, Oct. 23, against the New Orleans Saints. The representative, team director of security Dan Linza, had been trying to bring a cell phone to offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild so Martz could talk to him from his home. Zygmunt then brought Linza to team president John Shaw, who decided against having an "open phone line" in the booth. Martz said he wasn't trying to interfere, just to help a young coach. Martz admitted the impasse might be partly his fault, too, the result of strong wills clashing.

Good to see that martz's heart ailments haven't affected his logic and reasoning skills.

Saw on the bottom line scroll that Joe Vitt will now have to have angioplasty for a blockage in an artery.

Shoot...just make Faulk the HC.
