Title: Week 18: Commies - Part II
Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on January 03, 2026, 12:18:11 AM
Tanner and his merry band of backups are playing, which based on how zesty the offense has been I'm not sure why they're not giving the ones this game plus shooting for the two seed, but whatever.

And Washington is a dog. And they're in their feelings about the two pointer and fight from last game.

Luckily this game will be broadcast to my region.  I almost never get a Kevin Harlan game.  That's neat.

the network designations dont really mean anything anymore and in fact the entire way the sport is presented could change in 3 years

get ready to tweet through it

I don't care if it's a regular season game a playoff game a meaningless game just seeing Ringo on the field makes me say farg.

And I would've gone for a field goal on that fourth end goal because Missy needs a lot of work from every distance on the field

Punting?  Tanner also looked like shtein. He could have bear crawled for about 6 yards there on second and one.

These meaningless games, which are basically tryouts for the back ups, solidifies why these guys are backups.

Don't think there's gonna be a lot of hot offers for Tanner.

mckee hasnt been good at all, but hes playing with all back ups and this is his first kind of competitive game. god forbid hes not josh allen.

speed of the game is way too much for him. play calling is horrible

Tanner McKee and Johan Dotson reminds me of such stupendous pairings as Mike McMahon & Reggie Brown.

It took this long for you to think the playcalling might be a bit off?

I have a theory that they've been playing possum all year long with the playcalling. When the playoffs start they will actually call plays using logic and forethought.

Who's with me?!?

Can't believe I waited all farging year for the chance to see this team get pantsed by the most injured goofballs in the NFL. Am I talking about Washington or San Fran? I forget.

Nick is a moron, it's on him. #2 seed pissed away. They win despite this clueless farg.

Two red zone visits in first half and two big fat ZEROS.

I was hoping I'd be proven wrong and the scrubs could pull a rabbit out of their ass.  I wanted the starters all week, at least one half.  Major farg up.

Not riding Tank was stupid

McKee sucked

Sirianni sitting everyone was dumb

Go Birds. It'll be nice to knock the Niners out again.
Title: Re: Week 18: Commies - Part II
Post by: MDS on January 04, 2026, 08:29:14 PM
you cant really argue with the decision to sit...look what happened to calcaterra and look how their back up CBs played. like q goes down and its over

you can destroy nick and kevin for how they manage and called the game. even with the limited talent and bad qb play, it was there for them to win.

It's hard to believe Petullo was a passing game coordinator...he runs predicable route trees, the receivers run poorly spaced routes and has zero concept of exploiting zones.

Post by: General_Failure on January 04, 2026, 08:38:05 PM
I lost count of how many times the announcers said there was no one open for the Eagles. Imagine if the offensive scheme allowed Smith and Brown to be athletic freaks instead of relying on them being athletic freaks.

tanner moving the ball with ease with smitty tells you how low the bar is for hurts...and he gets AJ too

And yet magically couldn't throw a catchable ball in the fourth quarter.
Title: Re: Week 18: Commies - Part II
Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on January 04, 2026, 09:55:14 PM
Yeah Smitty and AJ ain't helping him not throw it to Jeremy Reaves or miss Granson wide open. Amongst other misses.
