I know it's in Minny but was referring to him playing against them as a starter

But I didn't know JJ was back practicing.

Lose to him and the same applies. He stinks.

If this band of fools can suddenly right this ship upright in 10 days post Denver/NYG/OL/DL/Secondary/AJ 3 ring circus/no running game/OC/HC/horrible FA acqusitions debacle, they all should get the Noble Peace Prize.

Don't see it happening Sunday. I don't care if Fran Tarkenton starts at QB for Minnesota.

Wentz beats Hurts? Oh baby, it'll be ugly.  Grab the torches and pitchforks.

eagles could obviously win or even win easily but the idea that they would be minus money on the road against a decent solid or even average team is crazy

I have so little interest in watching these buzzards. I turned it on just in time to see Wentz throw a backwards pass out of bounds. Never change, Carson.

And follows it up with a stupid interception. Amazing.

OL injuries are never ending

Jurgens down now

Toth sucks. Every time I see him he's running backwards chasing his guy or getting blown up

Never mind any other problems with the team, this is not a super bowl o-line. This is a lose to the Lions or Bucs in the first round o-line at best.

Yep.

Combine that with the zesty tackling and it's a huge problem

You can tell Hurts is bad because AJ's still miserable even when catching easy touchdowns. They should trade Hurts for Tua.

No one? Damn

Hurts perfect qb rating against the number 1 pass d in the league...also had no running game. Holla at your boy!

he played his best game really maybe since the 1st chiefs SB...navigated the pocket better than ive seen in a while. like the 3rd and long throw to AJ was marvelous. we all know he can throw a deep ball but thats the type of stuff hes been atrocious at. still too many check downs on 2nd and 3rd and long but when he got going late 3Q/4Q he was great.

even with that they had 3 TD and 1 FG drive. 24 points (well, 21, but he didnt miss the kick). its not like he put up 40.

They also could have scored at the end but ran the clock out. Run blocking is absolute shtein. Toth is bad but the rest of the line isn't pulling their weight.

Yeah they need interior OL help bad
Title: Re: Week 7: Minnesota - The Return of Wentz
Post by: MDS on October 19, 2025, 06:08:32 PM
the depth has hurt them...steen stinks as a starter and dickerson/jurgens are hurt. anything behind that cant hack it. last year dickerson and bechton were mainly healthy and steen was usable depth.

this isnt really something howie can fix too much on the run. like they can grab a cb2 or edge rusher, but the OL kinda is what it is. thats why you pay hurts all that money, to overcome deficiencies like that

Just imagine what the Eagles would've looked like today if they had Trevor Lawrence or Joe Flacco at QB. — lil guy

Happy they won of course, Hurts played well today but my God offensive line is a complete joke.  They look disheveled.  Stoutland U is getting an incomplete grade so far.

Other than Q and Coop the secondary is not good. Defense had their moments, but they also shtein the bed on numerous occasions.  Allowing the NFL version of Nick Castellanos on the base path, Carson Wentz, scrambles for two key first downs late in the game was unacceptable.  Uche is slow as farg. Patrick Johnson gets abused like a rag doll on the edge. Speaking of slow, you could've used a sundial to time hunts pick six.  Was Campbell playing with a leg injury? as the game went on he looked slower and slower.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Hero Ball yesterday.

How that guy put together the run in '17, I won't ever know.  He's a fatally flawed--100% mental--QB.
