Opens Eagles -6.5 total of 45.5
Who gets hurt to end the season this time? Hurts with a concussion? Barkley with a broken leg? Goeddert with a thigh bruise?
Hurts rolls right, throws it away...Brown takes it as an opportunity to run through the sideline hitting and knocking Moore out in the process. Do coaches have to clear concussion protocols too?
Moore interviewing with JAX tomorrow and NO Saturday gives me dickhead Gannon flashbacks.
Dallas has also requested an interview.
I am actively rooting for Moore to get a job elsewhere. If he's the Eagles OC next year then fine but really, he's nothing special.
He really isn't.
QuoteThe Eagles allowed 45 sacks this year, which is a lot. That was 13th-most in the league for a team that threw the ball less than anybody other team. From a percentage standpoint, only the Bears allowed more sacks per pass play than the Eagles.
A lot of that is on Hurts.
Yeah, well if you look at the last game, no one was open.
I'm not saying hurts doesn't hold the ball too long at times but I am saying he doesn't have much help from play calling.
Hurts does hold it too long. And sometimes the route tree isn't imaginative enough. But I think that has to do with Jalen too. His reluctance to throw middle of the field leads to a lot of lower percentage routes outside the hashes and numbers.
Moore isn't some offensive savant. But I'd like continuity at the OC position.
If you can't scheme these skill players open you shouldn't be an offensive coordinator, let alone a head coach somewhere.
Continuity is overrated when what you've got isn't satisfactory.
Thank you.
if you think moore is why the passing offense stinks then i literally cannot help you
You out here helping people? I'll let you know if someone says Moore is why the passing offense stinks, so you can break the news directly: no help for you!

lol
ill help you find some rat poison to ingest
Hurts was certainly capable of getting the ball to his receivers in 2022, so yeah let's try replacing the known mediocre OC first.
Verse is an ugly funhole

i love how face paint guy became the defacto eagles fan avatar...also why are there double tweets. just move this shtein to discord and be done with it.
hes a divorced dad who lives above a bar in delco. the life.
Seriously! That clown is an embarrassment. Give me the original sign man at the vet any day.
Is he an improvement over garbage can guy?
What happened to shoulder pad Sean?
sean is still around, FPG has made whatever this is his entire life. he doesnt work and just puts face point on and goes to games. he walks around like cbp and people treat him like a beatle
Not a bad gig.
I saw him in Houston when I went to the series
Respect. It's a hustle or starve life.

Same in Houston game 1...think he said he had to fly home for surgery for or after gm 2...few other Phillies games and an Eagles game. Sounds like Todd's jealous his 15 minutes of fame with the fandemic didn't project him to local stardom.
He still gets to spoon with Middy tho

Not gonna lie that's a nice perk
i didnt even get 15 minutes of fame off that...my guys did and they both didnt make a red cent
i dont believe fbp makes any money but he certainly piles up the perks
Shocking how many people are picking the Rams. That scoop of vanilla ice cream performance by the offense last week turned a lot of people off.
Not caught up into the cold weather factor, unless it's dumping snow. Let's not forget 2002 NFCG and "Oh Tampa has never won when it's below 40 degrees!" Wind chill of 16 and Gruden kicked their ass.
General Jughead and his staff better have this offense ready, Self Help Man healthy enough to play better produce, and Mr. God Forbid I throw in the middle of the field better work that shtein out, then they'll be fine.
It is fugly out
Yeah i see it's sleeting there and it's snowing up in Phoenixville
Let's farging goooooo!
Just now starting to stick in Lancaster.
OK boys deep breath
Leave it to Jake Elliott. See ya!
Yesssss!
But god damn Jake what in the farg
Elliott needs to go.
I forgot about stafford's gazillion years in the NFC North
Slay gets that this farging thing is over
That's a catch.
Yeah it's a catch.
And Slay needs to not miss that gift
Gotta go for two after every score now. Homie has the yips.
Rams shoving it down Vic's throat.
Welp.
Gotta be better
Zero pressure. Just let them walk right down the field. Ugh. Having flashbacks to the Jim Everett game at the Vet a million years ago.
Need to be a lot better. This crowd this weather is not phasing the Rams one bit.
I wasn't going to bring up the Jim Everett game. This has the Tampa NFCCG 02 game feel.
The backup LB's are going to be a problem
Last thing they needed! now this crowd flat as a pancake
Is that a zesty throw or did Mr. self-help just drop it?
Mitchell? OK we have a serious problem now.
Rogers on Puka and Kupp? I need more coffee.
Honolulu 75° and sunny.
It's such bullshtein this call unnecessary roughness but it's from the line of scrimmage that's borderline targeting!
Fiske is a big boy
What a block on that run
Barkley is just out of his mind right now. Wow.
How in the farg did he not intercept that? that's two now on this defense
Helen Keller could see that hold
Let it snow!
Great call by Collinsworth. Let's see if Kellen Moore can get knucklehead to get the short passes going as Rams continue to pressure
That was farging back breaking. They weren't going for the field goal, but that was bad
Hurts guns it over Brown's head on 2nd and then takes 10 seconds in the pocket only to get sacked. Ugh.
Yes! Hurts being a dip shtein.
Hurts and Barkley are a good combination for a snow game.
Is there a passage in this self-help book about dropped touchdown passes?
What a disaster
Boo!
That was farging embarrassing
I have no problem with the verse trash talk. Dude can back it up.
I'm worried. Kellen Moore and Hurts in a tight playoff game, Rams daring Mr. Crazy Glue Fingers to beat them.
That penalty is a dealbreaker
I'm filling in for Iggy today guys
House of cards
Hurts' knee not looking good.
Unbelievable.
Now we have "the safety"
Kellen Moore! farg you!!
O line looks pedestrian tonight
Prep for the loss, boys.
What a colossal choke.
AJ drops
Becton penalty
Jalen being a dumbfarg
You run the farging push push farg this gimp
He's not short
I don't know about that's simultaneous
Tip of ball looks like it's going over the goal line as elbow touched
That's a TD.
I would've run the tush push twice. Hurts could've slid in on the giant reindeer in front of him
Bechten having awful game
One inch short.
Jesus Christ, you farging clowns what an embarrassment your farging game and season right there
Boo
That was a TD. Straight stolen.
Penalties killing it.
The fact, Stafford completed that pass in these conditions is pretty remarkable
Zach Baun for MVP.
Hats off to the Rams defense
That was a great play call! Finally
The Niners must be shteinting their pants watching this Rams defense, cause they gotta contend with this for the next five years
Barkley ices it! :o
Right up there with Wilbur Montgomery and farging Jake Elliott strikes again
This ain't over three timeouts two minutes
farg you Jake Elliot
Buckle up boys
Horrible horrible
Heartbreak coming. What a farging stupid play call.
God farg dammit I hate the farging prevent defense
This farging team cannot buy an interception
Please tell me that people will be fired after this
Close one. Carter saved the day.
Have to admit that was some good passing in the snow by Stafford.
I don't care that they won farg this team
I'm gonna throw up in my mouth.
Again.
Whewwwwwwwww!
Way too god damn close for comfort
So many mistakes
Jalen Carter and Saquon won this
Lane, AJ, Hurts...booty
Carter is a star. He's Aaron Donaldesque.
I missed most of the second half because work let us out early for the weather. A 20 minute drive took almost an hour.
White knuckle driving same as white knuckle Eagle watching
Id have felt better about driving a Yugo on bald tires than watching that agony
They need to go home and clean up their neighborhoods anyway. Have you seen that city lately? It's a dump.
just an amazing experience...it wasnt really cold it was more wet and windy which made it kind of miserable but beautiful
hurts is abysmal and i hate him. they win in spite of him. saquon, my lord.
Carter = speechless
I am trying to defend Hurts but I'm hoping this is Moore's coffee shop paper napkin scheme because somebody is a complete dipshtein calling or executing this garbage.
Moore has always been a bad OC, but he's not the one holding the ball for ten seconds without throwing it away. They're both hindering what should be a dominant set of receivers.
That is also true. Him holding the ball is maddening. Also the fact that he drifts into the pressure.
Hurts always has that deer in the headlights look about him when his primary isn't wide open or he's not throwing a five yard slant.
If this team had Mahomes they would likely never lose a game because of the offense.
Quote from: Rome on January 20, 2025, 10:02:12 AMIf this team had Mahomes they would likely never lose a game because of the offense refs.
its scary how good they could be with even an average qb...with mahomes or burrow they never lose. with brocky purdy theyre a juggernaut
Quote from: Diomedes on January 20, 2025, 10:19:15 AMQuote from: Rome on January 20, 2025, 10:02:12 AMIf this team had Mahomes they would likely never lose a game because of the offense refs.
I would take it either way, thanks.
And Hurts is an average quarterback but he's still serviceable. I would take him over most of the slop in the NFL.
Hurts is the most rhythm qb in the league. Moore needs to do better. I'm not making excuses for hurts he wasn't good yesterday or last week but in his defense:
Threw a dart to AJ in between triple coverage for what would have been a first down but Brown alligator armed it
Threw a beautiful pass in between double coverage to Smith which gets caught if the db doesn't try to decapitate Smith. That should have been an ejection.
Threw a beautiful sideline corner ball to AJ who dropped it.
Set up a perfect screen and pass to Goedert for a long gain which was called back because Bechton was too far down field.
Scored a tush push TD with a bad left knee but it was called back because lane moved. Overhead shot clearly shows the rams were lined up offside but I'll give the refs a pass because visibility was shtein.
you can cherry pick little moments of competency from him, but the product is the product. if he can keep up with daniels and then mahomes/allen, i aint got nothin to say.
He hasn't even needed to keep up with anyone all season long. Of the two games he's lost this year, you can only point at the Bucs game and go "yeah, he really shtein the bed on that one."
It's like watching a grandma drive a Ferrari 20 miles under the speed limit and still win races.
Out of these 3 winning qbs tell me which one had the best game:
16/22 127 yards passing 0 passing tds 20 yards rushing 2 tds
15/20 128 passing yards 0 passing tds 70 yards rushing 1 TD
16/25 177 passing yards 1 passing TD 14 yards rushing
Also keep in mind one played in a blizzard
I know Hurts does stupid shtein and holds onto the ball too long and takes wreckless sacks but we're in the end game now stats mean shtein. Thought the biggest play yesterday was hurts long TD run. Teams have to scheme to stop Saquan but hurts showed he can take it to the house too. The rams hadn't given up more than 9 points to a team since they beat the Bills.

He was without Lane Johnson, AJ Brown and Devonta Smith too. Aside from Saquan the whole team blew that day.
Because you're saying that Hurts is the best QB in the league, Todd won't be able to help you.
Thoughts and prayers.

That wasn't directed at anyone's post specifically just an in general comparison. I had an epiphany last night that who gives a shtein how they won they won.
lower the bar for wittle jalen. gold star for not throwing any terrible picks!
If he'd won more games maybe they'd be playing at home this week to go to the superbowl.
Quote from: MDS on January 20, 2025, 03:19:35 PMlower the bar for wittle jalen. gold star for not throwing any terrible picks!
Meanwhile Jackson and Goff both cost their team with horrible ints. They both have great running games and pro bowl receivers. Maybe there's something to it
jackson wins that game if mark andrews doesnt have an all time bad day at the office...hes more than good enough to overcome a few mistakes. hurts is not. and thats problem.
he and they gotta hit an inside straight of a game
I'd take Jackson all day
However....
Hurts is 4-3 has played in a superbowl
Jackson is 3-5 no Super Bowl
But wins/losses obviously don't tell the whole story so let's go to the stats:
Hurts: 7 games, 1346 passing yards 65% completion rate, 7 passing tds, 2 ints, 293 rushing yards, 6 rushing TDs
Jackson: 8 games, 1753 passing yards, 60.5 completion rate, 10 passing TDs, 7 ints, 641 rushing yards, 3 rushing tds
Hurts also beat him head to head in Baltimore this season.
find a boys soul, troll
That worked for Jared Verse.
