All I "feel" is bad loss and bad play in Brazil, squeak a weak ass win over ATL week 2, split NO and Bucs and full anger kicks in at 2-2. It's just a feel.

Considering how little anyone plays in the preseason now, it's easy to believe they'll take a couple of weeks to get it together.

This trip to Brazil sounds like a bitch.  Easy 12 hour day of flying.  I believe it's only a one hour+ time difference but jet lag is jet lag.

Players don't seem happy about this.

The Amazon is on fire so Brazil is a Smokey mess. Smoke is great for athletes. Their hotel is an hour from the stadium. What a disaster.

QuoteToxic particles smothered the capital Brasilia in recent days and now have spread to Sao Paulo, the country's financial center and Latin America's biggest city.

Swell!  Maybe fargushima next year?

Only positive is actually going to be descent weather on Friday night. Low 60's.

Putting zero judgement in/on this game. First game, about as far from home as they can get, and these players do not want to be there. They will be sprinting to the concourse.  Of course I'll be pissed if they lose or look like they did opening day last year in Foxboro but I'll keep it top of mind this is just a weird ass enviornment.

it's simple as hurts showing he can play QB in this league at even a decent level...if he's back healthy and they were in a read option offense I'd say there's a good chance...imagine that with saquon as the back...but Kellen Moore has never done that and too me that's the most fascinating thing about the team this year...did Moore change up and institute an offense that at least leans strongly towards towards a Shane  Steichen offense or is he gonna try and make hurts good in his offense...the latter would be trying to put a square peg in a round hole scenario and not end well

Really though, is there anything more classically Eagles than watching them scramble and claw their way to a touchdown to get back into a game only to see the defense just roll the ruck over on the next drive?

covey a good little PR...his fair catches are almost as good as his returns...it's a really tough skill to know the hang time not long off the foot...so a lot of times you'll think he's got tons of room but only he knows where and how high the ball is...almost no returners know how the blocking is doing but the good ones let the ball tell them if the coverage is gonna be on them

Please drag this carcass off the field so I can go to bed. Some of us have work tomorrow.

Any win in the National Football League is a good one.

I dgaf about the field conditions...it's football, deal with it.

Goddamn though, the officiating was piss poor.  Trying to teach the rules of the game to Brazil by flagging every other play?

I love Devonta Smith, what a f'n great WR.

The pitch is designed for futbol, not 350 pound monsters like the dudes who played on it last night.  It's up to the staff to prepare the players to be ready to play on it.  Some were and some weren't.

Regardless, the stadium itself is tiny considering 23,000,000 people live around it.  Still really nice, though.

And yes, the refs were a joke.  They always are, so no surprise there.

The field thing annoys me. Whether it's allowing turf fields bc the billionaire owners don't want to pay for the grass upkeep despite being gifted stadiums from taxpayers or allowing fields like that or in the Super Bowl - it shouldn't happen.

And if I'm an owner I'd want the best field possible so my multimillion dollar players aren't tearing ACLs making simple cuts.

I recently described the experience of being an Eagles fan to someone by analogy to being a dope addict:  a win is no longer a high, it's just a fix that settles me for a week or so of building anticipation and anxiety....to either another win and a fix, but no actual satisfaction, or to a loss, and an experience of suffering and withdrawal

he can make some high level throws and still has elite athleticism even if hes not as explosive as he was 2 years ago...but a turnover machine qb is the worst possible thing to have. every drop back is a heart attack

To his credit he was money down the stretch. Moore really needs to simplify the offense. They disguised the rpo about as well as Trump hides his racism. Way too long to develop, the ends read it perfectly. Also enough with the farging tush push.

Just a matter of perspective here but The Jerrahs just handed Dak Prescott $240,000,000 for (4) years.  Things aren't that desperate.

The reality is we're stuck with a guy who can squat two Dak Prescotts but can't stop throwing wounded ducks across his body.

At least he's a great human and we cheer for a team that's not mis-owned by one of these iceholes:
