The Cards have been decent at times. Their midget QB has been sick but I could see him playing and torching them along with their TE McBride.
But Avonte and Dickerson could be back Sunday.
Maybe the Eagles offense will not piss down their legs? Maybe they'll throw to the middle of the field? Maybe Jalen won't backpedal in the pocket like he's a corner?
If the Birds lose, and they shouldn't, it'll 100% be on the offense for not dragging Gannon's sorry-ass defense.
Really don't expect what happens on the other side of the ball to matter much. If the Birds defense gives up either 0 or 40 the Eagle offense should be more than keeping pace in this one, if it's a seriously run outfit at all.
So I guess no one want Zach Ertz? Eagles didn't bite and I've heard nothing about any other team sniffing around. Is he done?
Two of my worst memories of Eagles games came against these clowns. Jim Bakken kicked a game winner in 1975. I was a little kid, and I can still see the ball flying over our heads at the end. I cried like a little girl on the subway home.
And that motherfarger Jake Plummer beat their asses in the 1999 opener. That game was the last one I ever sat in my old seats in 301 too. Goddamn they were killing them too up by 3 scores in the first quarter. Duce was running wild and then Fat Andy stopped running the ball. Pederson was an atrocity too.
I hope they blow them out by a hundred but it's guaranteed to be a close one.
I hated the Woody Woodpeckers with a passion. Still do.
They were the perennial losers of the division but reliably shivved the NFCE teams that were looking ahead to the next week.
Since realignment it has a way different feel, but the Cards are still 7-5 against the Eagles.
Don't forget 2001 and Troy Vincent getting bitch slapped by Plummer to Martay Jenkins.
Yes, let's remember that some more. Thanks.
Lmao dio. Exact thoughts reading both of those memories. Core memories of eagle's heartbreak for me
Since the subject came up I have started thinking about how many times the Cards have ripped our guts out. This was more the end of the Eagles as we knew them (choking Dogs under Buddy/Kotitty/Rhodes) but they played the Cardinals on SNF 1998, it was awful. Bobby Hoying looking the POS he was that night.
Penny is active
Lousy first series.
Smattering of boos
And of course they boot Murray to McBride
That combo is gonna kill them
Julio Jones eh?
This run defense is ATROCIOUS
god damn man
Cut back lanes galore
Let them walk right down the field out of the half
I hate this defense with a passion
What else can be said?
21-6
And they've blown the motherfarging lead again because of their horseshtein defense
The defensive personnel are trash
The offensive coaching is trash
21 through three quarters on the Cards, I'm still blaming the offense first
Man wtf with the qb draws!!!
brian johnson ain't it

defensive players are trash, you can't fix that
offensive players should be boat racing teams. that is fixable via game plan, scheme, play calling. but they simply aren't fixing it.
Disaster.
Bad news every time they play the cardinals. Giving up 35 to them is inexcusable but so on point for what this team has become. It will be one and done in the playoffs.
I almost like Arizona the Eagle Beaters as a league-long story line...it's quirky.
Some of the worst offensive play calling I think I've ever seen, it doesn't even matter if it is Sirainni or Brian Johnson. Like Einstein's definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Einstein was a dumb ass who didn't understand the difference between the definition of something and an example of it. Or maybe the quote is misattributed to Einstien, in which case he wasn't a dumb ass. But either way Sirianni is.
You gotta wonder if Sirianni is in danger of getting fired.
Especially after, in his presser, says that offensive sequence of draw/draw/screen wasn't conservative.
And then gives Gannon dap by saying how he knows what's up bc he's been in the meetings. No adjusting whatsoever.
Just outright farging garbage by the entire organization.
Also DeVonta is on crutches and in a boot

He should be in danger of getting fired. One thing the HC is always responsible for is preventing the sense of hopeless flailing the franchise has been mired in for the last month.
Yep.
He's had a rough stretch. The DC crap. The unimaginative offense (as he likes to thump his chest to tell us it's his offense).
Also Avonte made it back but is having X-rays on his arm
They'll go down to Tampa and maybe win. And that'll be it
Gotta give Jeff some credit for playing his long game here, getting Patricia in '23 to recruit Belichick for '24.
This was an all-time low end of subject
Never liked Sirianni. The SB appearance last year gave him a longer leash but this team has no heart, no soul, no identity. Matt Patrasha can miss by ass. This is Rich Kotite shtein.
But hey, all good, remember, they haven't played their best game yet.
farg everyone!
Roob comes through again:
QuoteCan we put 32 first downs in perspective? First of all, the Cards came into the game averaging 19 first downs per game. They recorded 32. That's insane. They had 19 of them in the second half. The Cards ran 38 plays in the second half. HALF OF THEM WERE FIRST DOWNS. That's utterly insane. That's the most first downs the Eagles have allowed since a loss to the Saints in 2015 – in the last few weeks of Chip Kelly's coaching tenure – and the 4th-most they've allowed since 1990. Mind-blowing.
This reminds me of the Rich Kotite 1994 collapse. Started 7-2 and lost 7 straight.
Nicky Kotite
I just watched his press conference and his farging comment about there's still time! you've got one game left you moron one farging game left and there's time to correct all this? there's just too much to correct right now.
I think Egaholic brought up "Where is the fire Nick Sirianni thread?" well it's time gentlemen. Call us crybabies. Call us a bunch of little old ladies. Call us Hoydas but it's the facts. This farging guy is a clown.
Oh
Howie and the theater usher are equally to blame.
It was our busiest night of the year at the liquor store, but you could tell how the game was going judging by the number of jerseys coming in.
lol third quarter got them tequila sales up
Its all a ploy by Big Liquor!
i watched this game at a book in san juan
fire everyone and either gouge my eyes out or trade hurts so i never have to see him making that stupid bitchass pouty face
