Panthers at Texans
I'm going to the game tonight courtesy of free fix from a customer. It's my friends birthday so I'm taking him along with to watch his Texans.
Davis Mills starts at QB. Panthers -8/-8.5 faves.
Enjoy the super spreader event.
It's not too crowded here and I'm vaxxed.
Rev Run is the halftime show and it's pretty good

Rev Run is the halftime show
Sounds like a Christian band, maybe Asians?
Run DMC
Or, 2/3rds of em I guess.
How was the game?
Actually 1/3rd - it was just Rev
Boring game. The beer vendor ran out of beer in our section.
Chiefs look like shtein - three turnovers already. Fumbles by Hill and CEH and a Mahomes pick that was a dropped pass.
Sloppy games. A lot of failed fourth down conversions, missed kicks and turnovers
Washington getting worked.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire having a rough season so far.
chiefs by 1 million over the eagles

Washington getting worked.
Yeah their vaunted defense looks like shtein
Nice screen to Gibson though for a score.
Giants have lost Shepherd and Slayton for the day with hamstring issues
Washington right back in it...how did they get two scores back to back?

Wind took the high kickoff away from the Bills and back to the kicker, who recovered it.

Maybe attempting a 68 yard field goal right before halftime wasn't the best idea for the Cardinals.
kingsbury trying a 68 yard fg and its run back for a td
moron
WOW
The 109yd missed FG return by the Jags was crazy. Zona tried a 68yd FG and came up short.
And thank god Gus Johnson was on that call.

Thank you.
Hollywood Brown making all of Baltimore curse.
Mara was booed loudly by Giants fans during Eli's halftime honor ceremony
And then the Lions fans let their owner have it too

chiefs woke up, that didnt take very long
Fields has now been sacked eight times. 4.5 times by Myles Garrett. Nagy is such a shtein coach.
Not rolling the pocket at all. There's a clip of Foles saying "the offense just isn't working"
Falcons blow.
Chargers coming back.
Never seen this before
Like when Randy Johnson murdered a bird

Mahomes' carelessness has caught up to him.
Another brutal chiefs turnover
And the Lions about to win. Would e been nice to get on a DET/LAC ML parlay
Really weird Chargers playcalling.
lolions
tucker 66 yd fg to win
this season is fun as hell so far
Justin Tucker is as beloved in this town as Ray Ray.
That is a demoralizing loss for the Lions.
Good god.
justin tucker my goodness
thats the best kick in football history
No one loves Tucker more than Marquise Brown. Two brutal drops and they never went back to him. Still managed the win, but only because of a farging kicker.

Also thanks to whatever the Lions defense was doing on that fourth down pass.
They used a timeout to get their shtein together, too.
Good argument to be made that Detroit was robbed by the refs, who failed to call delay of game on the play just before the kick.

Agreed. They usually give a heartbeat or so after the :00 but it seemed like more than that.

both behind a wife beater though
My son was overjoyed by the Ravens victory, and almost moreso by another Pittsburgh loss. I don't have a dog in the fight. I've taught him zero Steelers hate...it occurs naturally around here.

Yeah they got boned

they always give you a beat but that was longer than a beat. conceivable they couldve got the yards back but still. poor detroit.
bad day so far for the birds. colts 1 step closer to shutting down gimply mcjesus and dolphins on their way to 2-1
Giants and Washington both lose...an Eagles win over Dallas tomorrow night would be fantastic. And entirely possible, given that Dallas has like 9 guys on COVID or suspended, nevermind injuries.
For Indy, Carson played the whole game I think. 37 pass attempts. 18 rushes. In a game that was tied as the 4th quarter started, Frank Reich is asking Carson to shoulder the burden. Smart.
If the Dolphins blow this big lead it's a very positive day for the Eagles.
Get well soon Tua.

On the day with the best kick ever, a lot of awful kicking today too.

lock city kids
always fade an over confident Jon Gruden
Goddam, I couldn't even count the number of plays the Raiders tried to piss the game away, and I just started watching with about 5 min left in regulation. Hard to believe somehow despite themselves they won but I'm happy to take it.

i wouldve taken 0-4 for being right about this
Incredible finish.
Aaron Rodgers isn't human.
that first throw to adams was ridiculous...dropped it in a bucket from 30 yards out
demeco played way too soft there, especially after the first completion. cant let AR pick you apart. he is not jalen hurts.
I'm beating a dead horse but this is the only place I cantalk about it without getting buried, and I literally see this perspective nowhere else.
I really hate the excessive sympathies being expressed for Andy Reid. A lot of santimonious bullshtein. What makes this dude so beloved, or such a good guy? Every mfer on teevee talking that trash knows that he gave his life to football instead of his family, even when his family was in spectacular, community-threatening crisis, and that his solution to the problem was not to be a family guy afterall, and put football second, but instead to stash the farg ups on staff, where one of them promplty od'd and died at training camp, and another got drunk at the team facility and maimed a child for life drunk driving.
This is not the behavior of a good guy. If he is a tragic figure, then it's in the classical sense--making his own awful bed--not in the mawkish, dumbed down "unlucky," sense. The terribly sad story of this man and his family is just papered over and made palatable, why? Because to do otherwise makes some people uncomfortable? Because if you look to closely you'll see the nepotism all over the NFL, you'll see the cuplability these organizations (ouught to) bear for operating so unprofessionally?
I'm not cheering Reid's poor health and I don't wish him ill....but I'm disgusted by the fiction being parroted back and for that this is a good but unlucky dude.
Bullshtein.
Everyone in sports media is a broke-brained former athlete or surrounded by enough of them that, if they did share your opinion, know sharing it isn't going to do them any favors.
Andy grew up in one cult and devoted his life to another, and his family suffered for it. Everyone his kids sold drugs to as well. And that girl that's farged for life because his drunken loser son hit her. And me that time he chose to punt against the Saints in the playoffs.
You can't even find people willing to say something like this on Reddit..nevermind teevee.
The guy is held up like, if he's not, somehow the whole edifice will crumble and everyone will have to look in the mirror.
Something about having a holy holy to revere, and never question...creeps me out. Like, if the neighbor down the street behaved in this way and got the same results, lots of people would be openly saying...well you know...
But because it's fooball, because the party line is he's a god fearing family man....
I can't wait for him to retire and get out of the conversation. Put his suriving son in prison where he belongs, and maybe someday we can be more real about this crap.
For what it's worth, every time someone goes on about what a great guy he is, my kid says..."not if you're that brain damaged girl he's not." I guess I'm raising haters.
andy is a terrible father but beloved in coaching circles....takes good good care of his people and many have moved on to bigger and better jobs. media likes him because hes always up for a quote. texts back. is available.
all of that - essentially putting his job before everything - has led to problems at home
Interested to see what kind of reception fat man gets next week
