Bucs-Dolphins officially postponed to Week 11. The rare Week 1 bye.
no team has done 16 straight games since this stretch when they had 31 teams. yes, the browns had to play 16 games in a row back to back seasons. they were an expansion team but still.
2001
cards 7-9
chargers 5-11
2000
bengals 4-12
browns 3-13
1999
chargers 8-8
browns 2-14
so teams that are historically bad in seasons with a bye are also bad in seasons without one
i guess? im not sure of what went into determining who had the week 1/17 byes those years but no marquee teams being on there tells you what you need to know.
the chargers actually won 4 of their last 5 in 1999. with a washed up jim harbaugh at qb.
as for the dolphins, they will begin the year with 3 road games. the last is a london trip.
im just saying since 31 teams came around those four franchises are a combined 22 and 46 when it come to seasons with winning records and none of them have more winning seasons than losing
in other words the bye is basically meaningless as it pertains to a full season...if your team stinks its going to have a bad record with or without a bye and theres a strong chance in any particular year since 1999 that those teams were not going to be very good
Chiefs with a nice drive after a fourth down stuff
Pats still look like a finely tuned machine though
pats have more talent on ir than the eagles had on their roster last year
has it even possible for this to not have happened to a team since the year 2000
QuotePatriots have won 87 straight home games when leading at halftime
if the chiefs can somehow win this this would be amazing for your eagles
are they actually winning?
stop pretending youre not watching the league
we all know you love it
was watching madison keys fake an injury cause she had to take a dump but honestly have not watched one second of it
did know they were winning tho thanks to twitter
Kelce with another dumbshtein taunting penalty he's becoming famous for
After giving an "I'm so mature" pregame interview
Kareem Hunt
Wow
Three 90 yard drives (only had one last year)
Two fourth down stuffs
Andys boys are playing ok
good thing the eagles didnt trade up for him huh
Ah farg
Eric Berry is going off on the cart
Achilles?
That sucks.
Ass whipping is going on
Wow
didnt touch this game...thought about involving pats in a tease and using them into survival
WOOO
Worthy return for the league. Love that the "when will the Patriots lose their first game? December?" talk is over already. Kareem Hunt was all over the place. The bodies were stacking up in the injury department though.
Collinsworth kept yammering on about the Pats couldn't have been expecting to be down to these players on D. Impossible to call plays for them! Only person out was Dont'a. Uh...

I didn't play the full game. Leaned KC getting 9 but waited for the 2H and took them getting 4.
Pats no pass rush will be an issue. Unless Bill busts out the duct tape and JB Weld and magically makes some UDFA into a star in a couple weeks.
But some people will count them out...I'll wait before shoveling dirt on them. They got torched wk1 of 03 and then still won the SB.
Even more recent was the KC thumping in 14 which started the hot takes on start Jimmy and Bill is done!
im leaning toward houston in the survival. harvey + bortles = win
cin -3
hou -5.5
phi -1
nyg +4
THE EAGLES
im not saying the eagles wont win by 20....or that im picking washington but its preposterous that the birds are favored over them on the road

Especially since they've lost 5 straight to them.
Vegas must be earning bank from Eagles fans who believe the hype because I feel like Washington should be slightly favored even on a neutral field. We don't know what the 2017 versions of these teams really are but that's just my on paper assessment.

exactly...they are more or less equal teams and one is playing at home
how is the road team favored
Washington opened as a 2.5/3 point favorite and the line moved towards the Eagles around the last week of August.
All Vegas books except MGM owned books have the Eagles at -1/-1.5....MGM places have it Washington -1
thats why i like the eagles...in the immortal words of mike miss its an eagles line
Fournette has 17 carries already.
Bengals home opener is atrocious for them. Ugliest team playing today, and it's a game that will loom large if they are in playoff contention near the end of the season.
Giants offense looks like hammered shtein
And there's the awful Eli pick
Sounds like the Eagles have a chance of missing David Johnson. Sprained wrist, probably out for at least a few weeks.
giants are an absolute catastrophe without odb
cowboys despite having the best rb in football didnt light up the world. oh if the eagles didnt have such a horrible corner group and a stunod for a head coach
eli couldnt throw last year hes completely done this year....cant throw the ball more than 8 yards
and holy shtein jaylon smith is sick
Giants haven't scored over 20 since week 12 last year
so what youre saying is they will drop 35 on the birds in 2 weeks
Horseshtein calls against the Saints
30 yards in penalties for no good reason
Bradford looking like he was supposed to look before he was crippled. Man he's throwing some beautiful passes.
His player mug shot still creeps me out.
Brees getting worked tonight.
Another bullshtein penalty
My god
dalvin cook is going to be special
Don't remind me.
Wanted him in the draft so bad
That dropped pick six by Hayward hurts - and then Denver walks the field and scores
Sergio Dipp. Best thing to happen to the NFL in years.
Apparently there's a thin line between "best" and "worst"
Keenan Allen is a dumbshtein
Why throw the ball at someone?
What a finish
Icing the kicker worked.
to a certain extent...it was blocked.
that little zipperhead wasnt at fault
