Find vs Bengals
Burfict is back.
line is up to -8.5 with a total of 46
Those unis...wow
they are farging awesome
they basically are Tennessee with better helmets
The Dolphins logo is actually pretty good, but it will always seem zesty compared to the dolphin with the helmet. It's something that's going to always bother me about their unis from now until whenever they put the helmet back on that motherfarger.

The look is ruined by the helmet stripe.
Yeah I like the new logo but the old one was better
I've always liked their color scheme
Tannehill is maddening to watch try to play QB
One bonus of an October bye for the Eagles?
One less week to wear that stupid pink shtein
I wonder if Irsay shteincans Pagano if they lose? Even after signing him to a new deal
I hope so. My FF league has a bonus for drafting the first coach fired. I saw the Cancer Man's situation as the perfect combination of bad coaching, unjustifiably high expectations, and mentally unstable ownership.
lol that's a fun side pot
I'm surprised they retained him and Grigson. I think Grigson is the main problem there but Pagano hasn't helped himself much
Pagano sucks. And the job is attractive... what other potential job openings are going to come with a top tier QB? The Colts have no reason to hold onto him. Get rid of him now before the cancer comes back and you're forced to keep him for PR reasons.
I think a lot of coaches are going to get fired this season, but Jim Caldwell is the only coach who strikes me as being even worse than Pagano. I passed on him because Lions ownership tends to hold onto guys for about 3 years too long and firing midseason isn't their style.
Good point on Caldwell I'm shocked they held onto him
Is Luck still who we thought he is?
Quote from: QB Eagles on October 02, 2016, 11:15:53 AM... Lions ownership tends to hold onto guys for about 3 years too long and firing midseason isn't their style.
To their credit, I would argue.
I agree with the second part. I don't really see what firing a guy midseason does for you, unless you are intending to make one of your assistants your new HC. It usually comes across as spiteful or as a weak attempt to placate the fans.
I think it takes 4-5 years minimum to tell the difference between a good coach and an average coach. Too many things other than HC ability go into the end result on the field. Like, I think the juries are potentially still out on Mike McCarthy and Mike Tomlin, and they are Super Bowl winners who have been coaching for a decade. They've also had the advantages of amazing organizations around them, and Hall of Fame quarterbacks at their disposal.
Long term coaching ability has more to do with ability to learn and adjust than the immediate impact in those first few seasons (either good or bad). On the other hand, I think with some bad coaches, it's evident early on that they are lousy at coaching. If you notice that after one season, I think it's a good idea to let him go. I think Pagano and Caldwell have clearly reached that point. I think Jim Schwartz had reached that point a couple years before the Lions fired him. And Rod Marinelli. I don't think the right lesson to take from the Steelers is "hold onto your coach for 20 years no matter what". That's how you end up with Jeff Fisher turning in an 5-11 performance every year. You try to be the Steelers, and you end up being the Titans.
Good stuff - so many teams and coaches try to copy others. Like you said the Steelers of the Belichick branches trying to do what Bill does. Doesn't work for them.
Oh look at the Jags choking
How do you let him get loose like that?! Jalen Ramsey's shtein talking to play making ratio is way off kilter since his NFL arrival
Arrelious Benn's football IQ is nil
Way to run out of bounds dope
Jags win despite trying to lose
Gus Bradley is also ripe for firing by the way.
Pagano sucking doesn't mean that Grigson doesn't also suck. What a terrible roster the Colts have.
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't Grigson hailed as a steal for them, and a loss for the Eagles; a real football guy?
Now he's awful? How quickly fortunes turn in the NFL...
Correct
He was viewed as such and then once he began driving the car he spun it out and hit a tree head on.
By some...
I think that fortune turned sometime during the phone call to trade a first round draft pick for Trent Richardson.
man is cleveland bad and i can never hear pierre garcons name without thinking of pulp fiction
The Panthers...maybe wish they'd not kicked Norman to the curb eh?
And lol at Hoodie smashing the tablet on the sideline
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-r_i5CqllM
Mariota throwing some really questionable passes today.
Julio with 170 yards already.
These games are all legit making the Eagles look good.
I know the Lions game is a trap and all, but goddamn the Eagles should really beat the piss out of that team.
lol at the TEN-HOU game, what a comedy of errors
Cleveland gonna Cleveland
Stop being cute and bury these fools...fumble
It's amazing how the Falcons are bombing the shtein out of the Panthers
repug tmac doing the titans and texans
Flacco just scored his 2nd rush td of the year, which is 2 more than any Ravens RB.
at least he's not doing choke's finale.
there are a shtein ton of raider fans in baltimore today
Lions are stupid and Matt Stafford is a dumbfarg
kalil mack is a farging monster
Carolina's defense is being gang raped in broad daylight in Atlanta by Ice & Julio.
Oh and there's the obligatory Arthur Blank appearance on the sideline. <vomits>
Cam-cussion.
Raiders gonna Raider.
Brutal by Oakland
The Texans are in complete control of their division, and they are terrible.
Oakland!
how is carolina still in this game
zero defense going on there
And just as I say that, pick-6 for ATL!
Derek Anderson just proved why he should be selling washing machines for a living and not playing football. Just a horrifically overthrown pick six to the FaLLLLLcons.
It's amazing how Cleveland gave that game away
Three straight turnovers
Ravens can't pull it off. Oakland!
I'll allow myself this one fantasy whine - but I benched Crabtree today.
Anyways moving on...
Ravens should have tried Tucker from 68
Or thrown the ball to Steve Smith. He might have caught a pass that hit him in the chin.
The fighting Chip Kelly's!!
Blaine Gabbert 7, Dallas Cowboys 0
Kerley was a huge pickup for them
dallas has zero pass rush
Total bullshtein roughness call on the Niners against Dak.
And of course they tied it up
Simien was carted off btw - Lynch in

Meh...the whistle had blown repeatedly and a 9ers player threw him to the ground after the fact.
Tampa gets on the dumbfarg train
The NFL is suffering from a stupid penalty epidemic
that fisher challenge was the worst thing ive ever seen
Beautiful wheel route by Gurley and then a lousy sack fumble followed it
Quote from: ice grillin you on October 02, 2016, 06:07:54 PM

I didn't see that one, but Bowles had a pretty horrible challenge himself today, and then on the same drive had to use a TO...all while the Jets were on defense.
this particular one tavon austin clearly dropped the ball...it blatantly hit the ground and he still challenged
you can rush three if its 3rd and short or medium
Gabbert Jesus Christ
Torrey smith wide open and he throws it behind him for an int
cowboys are going to win this farging game, arent they?
c'mon big balls chip, sack up

this sounds like a dallas home game
The Niners tackle about as well as the Racists.
Lmaooo fisher has another awful challenge
What a buffoon
Assuming the Chargers can hold on to a 10 point lead (probably a terrible assumption):
Cam Newton, Andrew Luck, Drew Brees: collectively 2-10
How was that not PI on Cowboys defender?
Have fun with these weapons Chip.
Lol chargers fumble
Darryl Tapp recovers
Rams are personal fouling their way to a tough finish
Horsecollar and now helmet to helmet
Cards have life
Oh
My
God
Chargers fumble again
And of course NO scores
Let's see if Rivers can come back
Lololol
Sack
Rivers fumbles and covers it up
How is Kapernick not playing? Blaine Gabbert sucks. I mean his name is farging BLAINE.
Because Niners FO doesn't want him playing
Lololol at the Chargers
Up 34-21
Fumble leads to NO TD

Much less pink being worn

do you hate women or love cancer
Breast Cancer awareness is a huge scam. Yeah I love tits and I'm happy they're raising some money and awareness but it's cause marketing and is a business first and charity a distant second.

In one of the broadcasts, the announcer said the NFL's big push officially starts next week. Some of the home teams (notably the Chargers) took it upon themselves to get started early, but I think we're not really into the campaign yet. There are 5 October Sundays this year.

My friend's got a relative who is in the business of selling all that pink stuff. She makes obscene amounts of money and has become very wealthy off of it. The whole thing is ethically very strange.
It's slightly different for the NFL. Their primary reason isn't to directly make money from junk sales. They do it to market the game to women and as something they can trot out in response to their athletes beating women.

I believe the NFL also charges the Komen foundation, which is a joke of an org, too. But that doesn't shock me because they charge the military to honor them too.
Good on your friends relative for capitalizing on the niche. It's like the whole pumpkin spice craze. Even the little peewee football kids are pinked out.
18 play drive nets the Chiefs zero points
steelers rollin bears won browns should have won
dallas and wash both did win
good or bad day for the birds?
how the farg did cleveland not beat or at least cover against the washingtons
Calling it a bad day. Browns and Niners should have put those two games to bed. I don't think we had those games circled ahead of time as losses for the bad guys, but it sucked watching them both slip away.
Three straight possessions with a turnover
Including one where Cleveland dude is standing outside of the scrum with the ball holding it up and the refs gave it to Washington.
Jeff Tripplette was the ref
some of the worst turnovers youll ever see
Need Minny to drop the Giants tomorrow
Btw Fitzpatrick should catch some bench. 9 picks the last two weeks.

Jeff Tripplette was the ref
The NFL says it was Sarah Thomas who saw a Skin in possession of the football at the same time Duke Johnson was holding it aloft 5 feet away. And because there's no camera angle that shows the football through the whole thing, it couldn't be overturned.
lol how convenient
I don't believe she was on Tripplette's crew last year - she must have been downgraded to the worst crew.
If they reviewed it they would have seen how it unfolded...but then again at that point it falls on Tripplette to show competence which he struggles with.
They did review it, they review all turnovers. Because there's a period of time you can't see the ball, they couldn't overturn the call on the field.

farging meathead losers

Giants off to a zesty start
Good
Would you be okay with Bradford winning the Super Bowl if it means the Eagles get a second rounder next year?
so it would be 32 and 64? yea id take that but id prefer minny crater and get a top 10 pick
neither seems likely
No give me the 1 and the 4

I hate the Giants but I love Beckham. Dude is undersized and never avoids contact. He always plays with a chip on his shoulder. If he were an Eagle you'd love him the same way you loved pimp.
Probably but I'd be annoyed that he lets people get in his head and he's now getting penalties for it
Blair Walsh...still employed yet still with the yips
If they stick with him and he blows another playoff game? Sheesh
the giants suck
$200m on defense and no turnovers
Has Odell scored this year?
unlikely altho definitely possible but if somehow the birds and vikes are still undefeated in two weeks holy shtein it could be the biggest most storyline filled regular season game in eagle history
