FUMBLE!
sturgis ahead of parkey early
look at this...under center from the goal line. touchdown.
4 down linemen on defense. what is this, football?
chase daniel stinks

are you going? it took me forever to get from kop to the city but i dont think that had anything to do with game traffic
95 S is a parking lot from jersey south. Bumper to bumper the whole way. Packer ave still bumper to bumper. 47 mins after game started.
Seems like I'm missing chase daniel light the world on fire
daniel sucks and all but its the bucs 1st team defense and the eagles o line is putrid outside of the starting 5, which will likely never play a snap together
also they should never ever have a preseason game on a work night at 7....just a god damn dumb idea to invite 50k+ people to a party at rush hour
"we want wentz" chants
durrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Gardner should be cut at halftime
bad o line and no wide outs
good recipe
Are people from Wentz's home state referred to as North Dakotans or North Dakotites?
can you pick a reference that isnt 40 years old
Happy to see the receiving corps setting Wentz's expectation levels to an appropriate degree to start his career.

Can you retroactively abort yourself?
Also it took Doug half of one preseason game to illustrate he has Andy's zesty 2 minute clock management.
well im not sure how good wentz will be but he is definitely better than chase daniel
Out of towners NFL Red Zone showing lots of the birds game.
And ffffffrrrraaaappppp goes the Wentz balloon.
That 5 official drops while Wentz is in? Talent is obvious.
Zone Read Wentz! That would have taken Bradford 30 seconds to run 8 yards.

And they didn't involve Matthews and Huff.
Chase Daniel is trash
Are they really challenging this catch? I mean what in the actual farg?
lol clean untouched hit on the franchise. i bet he has never been hit like that in his life.
phelps v lochte now
or you can watch this
phelps on tv, this horseshtein on the computer. watching through youtube and the live chat/comments are so much better than the game.
Whose brilliant farging idea was it to have the future of the franchise being protected by guys who will be working at XL Big & Tall stores after Labor Day?
WE WIN! Who farging cares
CJ Smith has been good
Yes Smith played well, albeit the Scrub Bowl he did play well.
And agree with Romey, I was a little worried about Wentz in there with the Pop Warner squad.
Jr went to the game, couldn't decide what was worse, the traffic getting there, the Wr's, or those guys we all better hope never play a down on the OL.
Thought Wentz looked decent. His pick was awful, but other than that he looked very comfortable and unfazed by a faster game. He did a good job recovering the low snap and getting rid of the ball without taking a sack or penalty. Also did a nice job avoiding pressure on a 3rd down play when the o- line stayed in their stance after the snap and made a nice sideline throw on the run. Way too early to make any real determination, but he had a quality first showing.
66 & 31 get cut yet? ???

this is pretty on point....he looked like a rookie qb at various points but had a few instinct and athletic plays that lead you believe there are some bigger things on the way for him
they could help him out by, you know, giving him someone to throw to and a halfway decent line but one thing at a time
:-D

I think we might have more people in Florida than Philly.
I expect a lot of open WRs in Eagle games. Just not the ones we want to see.
Ha - the opposition, for instance.
DGB looks like he's gonna play
Smallwood not playing. Neither is Sheppard
I was hoping he would stand out this year. But CJ Smith seems to have taken over that 5th spot
No K Caleb Sturgis tonight. Wasn't wearing helmet before game on field, hit on head by punt, suffered concussion
Lolol
they might claim the clown trophy without even having to play cleveland
One play in and I don't want to kill myself listening to the announcers. So far, so good!
if all they do is play the steelers without rapistburger and lev bell (and i think antonio brown) theyll go 16-0
eagles 1s getting worked on this drive against the steelers back ups
how was that not a hold
brandon graham has never seen an end around before
Why is old man Sproles anywhere near the field?

get used to a lot of mis direction plays against scwartz defense this year which sends everyone up the field on almost every play
before bradford leaves the game can they please have him take a couple shots down the field...even if they are intermediate routes
that 10 yard throw to agholor is about all youre going to get
they are going to be a less competnent version of that chiefs team that didnt have a td by a wide out
i get its going to be super concervative with playing pittsburgh so early in the year but they arent even sending anyone downfield...you are allowed to run a seam or go route
Can we not send Chris Givens on one fly route just for funsies?
Bradford may be mediocre and clearly sold his soul to the devil to have stayed in the NFL this long, but at least he never ran into a man's butt and fumbled.
Not that it matters but it still bothers me how on 3rd and 10+ Sam will take the 7-9 yards every time as soon as it's open instead of waiting to see if a route down the field develops.
3 yards. 3 yards. 3 yards.
agholor with a real nice catch in the middle of the field....then a drop
thats him alight

remember when he was supposed to be a late round draft pick
agholor isnt great but at least he belongs in the nfl (probably)
amazing that a year ago several people had chip as the 2nd best coach in the nfl
This time last year, national NFL writers were considering the Eagles a Super Bowl contender.
theres a dude number 9 playing wr, i think, who looks like a qb but i guess isnt
weird
Was wondering the same thing. Who the hell is #9?
I may have watched 20 minutes of that shtein show. I honestly can't stand watching football anymore. I'm tired of it to my bones.
Too many decades of losing and not having any hope of it ever ending in my lifetime, I suppose.
Maybe I'll get more excited when the regular rolls around.
It got better to watch when Bradford came out, so maybe by week 3 you'll enjoy it again.
oh poor you
(https://dwesterberg.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/livia-enters-green-grove.png)
Solid Sopranos pull there.
My thoughts...after getting chased off Romey's lawn;
Bradford isn't going to throw the ball downfield at all.
Pederson isn't gonna call downfield plays. It's gonna be like Andy's first several years where it's nothing but dink and dunk shtein.
They're going to have a top ten defense
Means is balling. Grymes had a nice pick. Carroll had a really good game. So did Aziz Shttu. Barbre didn't have his name called and Seumalo looked ok at times.
The receivers are tough to watch. DGB better be for real. Buckle up son.
Joe Walked tore his ACL which sucks bc the depth was already thin. More leverage for Tulloch
was jamming to the new metallica song last night, should be the eagles theme song this year.

They're going to have a top ten defense
I think they have a top ten defensive line and safeties. Not convinced by the rest of the defense. Fairly meaningless that they picked off shtein-ass Landry Jones passes four times, but I do read some meaning into Landry Jones being able to move the ball downfield against them a few times.
Would not be shocked if the Eagles had the worst offense in the league, although anywhere between the worst and "average" is a possibility.
there is virtually zero chance they have a top ten defense
Actually, there is a 31.25% chance, at least.
does that math work for the superbowl champion as well....cause if so this season just got a lot more exciting
Superbowl victor is a little less likely, but far more likely than the zero percent chance you would allow.
Their defense will be mediocre. Their offense will be a farging train wreck. ST will be above average.
6-10 or 5-11 should be in the ball park.
nelson agholor sucks at catching
pretty troubling skill for a wide receiver
Cut him. Seriously. If you're looking to send a message to these losers that's what I would do. Boom. Out. See ya
2 drives in and the 1st team defense looks great. should keep them in games until bradford hits a WR in the facemask to lead to a pick 6
agholor makes marcus smith seem like a good pick
dgb no idea how to track a ball
i miss torrance small and charles johnson
Nice pickup by Huff.
strong so far from huff....ruben randle cant get on the field
im feeling they go: j matt-agholor-dgb-huff-givens. turner goes ps.
Hicks showing ridiculous speed and being able to blow things up in the backfield on a 3 step drop.
i dont get why bradford gets so much hate
because he was a #1 pick and isnt as good as tom brady? because hes kind of a lame dork? ok, i get it.
but the dude is a solid nfl qb.
TD DGB. Had more to do with him isolated against a bad, short corner though.
Sam is looking sharp.
That was an ideal situation for DGB. There's a ton of short corners. He can feast on their asses in the red zone.
could of done the same thing last week but pederson's son threw a shtein pass....bradford is a real nfl qb and knows how to throw a fade
i fully expect sports radio is start slobbering over this game like they did for the packers last year
One's on ones they've looked good. It's vanilla but they've been faster and hit harder than Indy.
I like what I've seen so far and this is almost as real as it gets in scrimmages.
I'm actually enjoying this shtein. Not bad for meaningless garbage game.
pretty sure they can win the super bowl
Burton is going to have a good year
NFLN cut in to show some
When is the full replay?
The Colts announcer has been calling Scott Tolzien "Tolziel" for the last 10 minutes.
i know he rubs some people the wrong way, but mayok is really good....so prepared and knowledgeable
and yes that last drive was against scott tolzien, but the defense put up an unofficial 0 tonight. thats good!
Saw Carrolls pick on NFLN and the colts dude called him Marc Anthony
Nice roster from last preseason he's working with
So Sturgis is going to win the job eh?
local MA broadcasts are bad enough in the nba and mlb....now try imaging one that does 4 games a year
for these things youre generally pulling guys who live in the city. philly being a real place has talents like graham and mayock so its just easy to pull them. what broadcasting talent lives in indianapolis?

I've said this before, so you can nod off now:
His entire career, his receivers have dropped a lot of passes. Too many to write it off as bad luck. Something about his game is off. It seems to me that he puts passes exactly where they need to be a lot more than McNabb ever did. And it's not that he's got a weak arm. I don't know, but whatever it is, I do blame him.
So Kendricks is pissed bc he was out there in the fourth and declined interview requests after the game
Who cares.
Stop caring.
It's soap opera bullshtein. He's a jock. Leave him alone.
Let's make it a Mexican telenovela rather than a soap opera shall we?

I still found them less annoying than Gruden. The guy called Scott tolzien Scott Toziel about 12 times before he realized his mistake.
Wow, that's abysmal.
Vince Curry is my favorite. He called Smallwood Huff a couple of times as well. The worst part was "we" instead of "they" and the PBP idiot repeatedly referring to Luck as Andrew. Dude, even if that's your farging son, you still call him Luck. Anything other than that is just bush league.
so who is ready for some football tonight ????!
i won't be home...so i'll dvr it and never watch.
dread this wait, farg this game, can we fast forward to next week ?
with the possible exception of kendricks punching jim schwartz, i cant think of a single reason to watch this game
this bethel thompson person is playing the 2nd half...whoever paid 17 bucks a pop for my tickets paid 17 dollars too many
It's Eagles football, guys on the bubble, I'll watch the first half.
Either Graham or Mayock said Pat Kirwan said there's buzz around the league the Vikings are interested in trading for Chase Daniel. Let's hope that's true.
Also reported Lane Johnson hasn't been officially suspended yet. The NFL is dragging their feet and the Eagles haven't heard a peep. So who knows, maybe they get lucky somehow.
lane isnt playing tonight, so the team must feel that hes going to be eligible in week 1.
paul turner had some punt return or something, i wasnt watching

Like nearly anything else they said was correct...
Seriously though, Daniel is okay to me. I wouldn't want to pin my hopes on him for more than part of a game, but his role is more than what nonsense he leaves on the field. And there's no way that Pederson would lose his right-hand man in the locker room, unless there was something REALLY good coming in return. And that ain't happenin'.
countdown to next sunday.
