so the Pats preseason game to be preceded by a joint practice? Bill likes him some Chip. Actually, I think Belichick probably respected Andy as much as any coach around the league. Maybe it's just Philly Bill loves. Coach trade?

Talking about the preseason schedule and the regular season schedule that hasn't come out yet is as stupid as knowing who the third stringers on a team are. Knott!

the eagles will likely max out on prime time games (5). one will be thursday, two will be sunday, one will be monday...the other 1 will be sunday/monday.

giants, cowboys, taterskins figure to be in there. i can see them getting the opening night sunday night johnson @ sf, too.

seemed like once nfl network made it into a three hour tv  show they stopped leaking it.....which doesnt make much sense cause everyone still gets their teams full schedule around 8...its not like they are forcing you to watch the show

Each NFL team has a copy of the schedule a few hours ahead of time so they can prepare their articles for the web, but that's it.

One early rumor I've seen so far: week 17 at Washington

Title: Re: 2014 Schedule Thread
Post by: ice grillin you on April 23, 2014, 08:31:21 PM
after all the talk of pimp v. chip neither wash game ends up on prime time....other than that nothing really jumps out about the schedule

no murderous stretches...theres a nice mix of the tough games and easy ones...

at arz at hou back to back isnt welcome but its not crazy either

car monday nite into at gb is pretty tough...but still the first one is at home

on the flip side you go to sf in what is arguably the toughest game on the schedule plus a west coast trip but you follow it by not having to leave philly for the next three weeks...and the third of those weeks is the bye week which directly preceeds the arz hou roadie

all in all id say the eagles won big
Title: Re: 2014 Schedule Thread

have to go through to see how many games they have vs. teams coming off by weeks....and other quirks.

look test is pretty favorable. i love that the last 3 weeks are division games. how it should be for everyone.

A couple other thoughts:

-- Facing the Cowboys twice in a 3-week span...gonna be tough for either team to sweep that
-- The Seahawks have the same twice-in-3-weeks thing with the Niners before and after facing us.  Even though it's a FOX national game and I don't expect letdown games from the Seahawks, they may not be into that one 100%
-- Week 1 has a chance of being Johnny Football's debut
-- Going back down to Houston for an AFC game after coming back from Arizona.....could be a potential upset here

I know it's been a couple years since I last visted this site and am glad to see it's still active. Just wonder if anyone knows of a group that's going to Eagles @ Dallas or a travel agencey you could refer me to. It would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a package deal type thing or just wanna go with a bunch of fans?

If you and your buddies want to go down it's probably cheaper to book on your own. I've found that booking airfare and hotel and buying off stubhub is better and you have more control over the travel times and stuff.

Our Week 16 match in San Francisco vs. the 49ers will start at 5:15pm.. Officially in primetime.

...so our game at FedEx is a 4:30 start and will be on NFL Network

"I believe that we will win!"

Gayest of all chants in the history of sports.
