I missed that story.   His size is alright.  Does he play special teams?

Do you have a cousin that'll do it cheaper and faster, but maybe more half-assedly?

Yes...but he's currently working on a deck. He'll be done in about 6-weeks.

From SI.com

QuoteCarroll does bring nice size to the position: 6-foot-1 and 205 pounds. With Fletcher and Williams, this signing gives the Eagles three cornerbacks standing 6-0 or taller.

Grade: B. This move falls firmly under the criteria for a "B" grade. Carroll will add some seasoned depth to the Eagles' secondary, though he falls short of qualifying as a definite starter ... or even as a starter.

QuoteAnd above all, he's excited about staying in Philadelphia.

"The past few years have been great, honestly," Carroll said. "I've never been a part of anything like this. I've never been a part of a city like this where they care about the team so much, they care about the players. It's the same way for me: I care about the city, I care about the players on this team. That's why I came back. I felt like there's no other place like this."

He's totally pandering.  He's talking like he played for a dozen teams and has some actual insight into how fans in other cities are.  He's played in Philly and Miami, so of course he's never played in a crazed football town.  Lol @ thinking the fans influence decisions.  Well, Philly fans might chase players away, but they don't really do much to draw people in. He's a decent player and I'm happy to have him, but I'm guessing the birds made the best offer, otherwise he'd have been gone.
