So who do you guys got this weekend?
Colts vs Chiefs
Bengals vs Chargers
Packers vs 49ers
Andy usually has his teams ready for the first round. I can see them taking out Indy. If the Chiefs lose it will likely be because they had Alex Smith throw it 45 times. Reading Chiefs fans reactions should be fun if that happens.
I like Philip Rivers so I hope SD knocks off Cincy.
Can SF play in that icy cold? That is the key because I think Rodgers will move the ball against the 49ers. In normal temps I would be taking SF here but I wonder how Kaepernick can run the offense while his nuts are hiding out in his chest.
Colts and 49ers easy. When the Colts are motivated they are as good a team as there is in the league, and at home in the playoffs I like them against a Chiefs team I don't totally buy into. In the other game, you have Rodgers, the weather, and the luck of Lambeau against a far superior team and coach. Not sure the weather actually works in Green Bay's favor here, as the freakier it gets, the more it plays into the hands of the better gameday coach. McCarthy is essentially mid-career Andy Reid if Andy had a Hall of Fame QB instead of an Eagles Ring of Honor QB.
I keep changing my mind about the other game as I think both teams are a bit underrated. Hard to call the Chargers underrated after that turd they left on the field against the Chiefs last week, but if you look at their schedule, they've scalped some pretty good teams and the only game they ever let get away from them was the fluky super-late night game against the Raiders. On the other side, you have a talented, under-the-radar Bengals offense that has similarly racked up some impressive wins: NE (albeit before Belichick turned things around), Packers w/ Rodgers, a demolition of Indy, and at the Chargers just a few weeks ago. But we're talking about the Bengals in the playoffs here, with Marvin Lewis and those uniforms and a scary ginger QB. Guess I'll go with the Chargers.
Agreed on McCarthy...isn't he a yinzer? He makes some head scratching in game decisions.
I just don't trust Kaepernick in that weather. We know SF's D is legit but I think he makes enough plays against them compared to Kaepernick against the Cheez-Its.
SD has laid some eggs for sure...and Marvelous Marv Lewis hasn't won a playoff game (Bengals last post season W? 1990).
Colts can be world beaters (SF, SEA, etc) but then get streaky and not be able to move the ball and get lit against the deep ball.
colts
eagles
chargers
49ers
the chargers thing seems so obvious. they have no business being in the playoffs...looked like shtein in week 17...bengals havent lost at home...of course theyll win outright
chiefs - a little to a little.....something like 14-13
eagles - tampa bay part II written all over it
chargers - dalton is going to suffocate on his own puke
green bay - vaginal left coasters wont score more than 9 pts
So you got the Eagles but think its 2002 Part Two?
Chiefs, Bengals, Niners is who I have. Not sure about the Birds.
If Jimmy Graham receives for less than 150 yards the Eagles will win. So I'm calling it a win for the Saints.
I hope they stick Cary Williams on Graham. When Williams is aggressive he holds his own against anyone. He's a dirty shtein talker who can neutralize a guy like Graham with minor holds and incidental contact.
Colts better team than a lot of people give them credit for, Chiefs something like 2-5 last seven games (yes, counting the game they sat starters)...but no matter what I say, this is a hater pick. I want Andy to lose and Chiefs fans to stfu about how great he is.
Bengals end fairy tale Rivers year with interceptions
49ers aren't going to lose in the wild card round
Jamaal Charles knocked outta the game early and being evaluated for a concussion
Somewhat of a shootout...I expected KC to get after Indy in the passing game but Luck reciprocated and marched Indy right down to score too.
Andy did not run once on the first series with goal to go
This time he runs the rollout to the short side (HATE!) and then Knile Davis up the gut twice...stuffed...which means no more runs the rest of the day

:-D This is so true.
Alex Smith, using his third eye, steps up in time to make a nice throw to a wide open Avery.
Colts are doneski....Trent Richardson fumbled...KC got it
peace out Indy
BTW...Richardson was running a sweep! Why are they running that sloth outside? He can barely get yards straight ahead!
Pep Hamilton needs to be fired.
And Ryan Grigson got worked by Joe B on that trade
beautiful keeper by Luck...nice
Who is this playing QB for KC. Not Alex Smith.
I am curious to see how Indy responds....they have made a few big comebacks in second halves this year.
About to be 31-10....Andrew Franchise has his work cut out for him
Putrid throw, Luck.
Indy picked....
What a disastrous half by the Colts defense. Chiefs put up 31 without Jamaal Charles.
Colts got ripped by Case Keenum earlier in the year
Come on, Colts, help me feel better about hating Andy.
Hmmmmm Colts with life?
Robert Mathis is a beast
This guy is injured way off the field, better stop the game.
Charles, Avery and Flowers out with concussions
Chiefs are dropping like flies
Another one down
Rick Burkholder getting more TV time than Andy
That was almost an amazing pick. And another carcass on the field.
Farg you, Colts. You literally handed the game away.
Did the Colts just freeze the kicker in the 3rd quarter?
No they had 12 on the field...should've been a penalty
Colts only down 10
Andy choke coming?!
Are you kidding me?!?!?
Holy shtein! What a crazy play
Knile Davis hurt now...jeez!
Kansas City having time management issues? Shocking
Classic andy clock management
lol...Leron Landry takes a knee to the helmet and goes down....and his teammate walks up to him and starts slapping him on the helmet over and over again
After Indy scores a TD here andy won't have left them with timeouts to try to kick a FG.
I just turned the game back on after the int to begin the 3rd Q. Wow. Have we seen any vintage AR clockwork yet?
So is this shtein gonna be over by the time the Birds game starts?
Haha yeah two burned timeouts
Justin Houston hurt now
Don't know nothin about that Sports Science life, KC!

Chiefs called not one but two timeouts last drive.
Holy shtein!! TY Hilton!!
Amazing comeback
Haha, shocked. Part of me wishes Andy well but I can't help but want to see him lose here for just such reasons. Hope Ind didn't leave leave even Andy with too much time though.
This game is incredible.
Choke! Choke you son of a bitch. Choke!

Time's yours.
He wasted a timeout coming out of a tv timeout lolol
Crazy ass game!
Epic choke
It goes without saying but I'm pretty sure they get the ball back needing a FG to win if those timeouts weren't pissed down the drain.
Well so much for a Chiefs/Eagles SB.
it feels weird being a neutral party in an andy reid collapse
Watchting Reid choke away the second largest comeback in playoff history, and watching him do it in text book AR style, was delicious.
The pleasure I experienced on account of this loss far outweighed the grief I suffered over the Eagles loss.
I have one friend from KC. Texts all year from him about being undefeated, about Chip Kelly when the Eagles were slumping, etc.
Last night I sent him two words and I know he threw something: Andy Reid
I don't care that Rivers is the worst quarterback from his draft class, or that he looks and sounds like Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation. I just want to see him do better than Andy Reid this year. Farg Andy.
Andy Dalton is garbage. Marv needs to be canned and Dalton replaced.
And taterskins can hire Jay Gruden please.
I'm rooting for a SF-SEA NFCCG and SD-NE AFCCG
kc
philly
cinci
tortured fan bases get even more tortured
The Eagles home opener->Super Bowl champion streak stays alive
that hold was ridiculous
Ok, Rodgers is pretty damn good.
this has to be the best wc weekend ever
this is exactly like the eagles ending...slow death

Yep they got Shayne Graham'ed.
at least they didnt win on a horsecollar and qb sneaks
So the three worst divisions are out after wildcard weekend

So it's Saints at Seahawks on Saturday, 49ers at Panthers on Sunday.
How that Dawson kick didn't get blocked is amazing to me...I think the ball went through the gap betweenPackers arms

Wow. Truly a game of inches. I knew it was close, but not that close.
That's going to keep him up at nights the rest of his life.
Kinda like I can still remember how close ND Kalu was to blocking that punt in 2001...I asked him about it once and he said he thinks about it all the time
They called offsides on him, so the block wouldn't have counted anyway. Now he can sleep

i wonder how often mcnabb thinks about his interception
my guess is very very little
It requires the ability to feel embarrassment.
shocking that eagle losses were involved in both weekends:
Three of this weekend's four NFL Wild Card games were decided by three points or less. There was only one other playoff weekend in league history in which three teams won by a margin that slim. That was in the Divisional Round following the 2006 season, when New England (24-21 over San Diego), New Orleans (27-24 over Philadelphia), and Chicago (27-24 over Seattle in overtime) all posted close victories.
Indy signed Deion Branch for this week's game in New England
