The NFL Network opening song is awful.
At least they've got a woman in black granny panties and a turtleneck. What more could you really want?
I forgot there was a game tonight.
Well...taking Houston in Havas' contest...was a poor choice.
Now its all about Andre Johnson getting points. Please! Its playoff time, bitch
The Texans must have about 37 penalties right now.
DJ Swearinger is killing them
Aaaaand Matt Schaub does his thing....crushing pick to end it.
But he helped Andre have a huge night. Thanks buddy!

i always pick the home team on Thursday night and it almost always pays out. except i was too busy at work yesterday and i didn't get it in but i thought the jags were an easy pick last night especially being a home dog. that line was strictly going on the names of the teams, not how they were actually playing
if i was a jags fan last night i would have put something thru my tv screen at the end of the game when gus was laughing and hugging people after the schaub pick like they just won the superbowl....they are ruining any chance at jadevon by stupidly winning their last three games for no apparent reason
in fact jacksonville has the longest current winning streak in the entire AFC
They're taking a QB anyway. Chad Henne ain't the answer there.
he never was supposed to be....i think you mean blaine gabbert....either way this is a terrible qb year plus jadevon is the only player at any position who is a super stud game changer type...you dont take a qb over him
teddy's stock has dropped this year pretty bad. maybe not as bad as barkley last year but he was a top 10 pick if he was in last year's draft now i'm not sure he's a first rounder
i think he still goes top ten/five but hes 100% a first rounder....if for no other reason than the whole class is so bad
i guess i've perceived his stock to drop more than it has in reality. this was supposed to be a sick class wasn't it with Mariota supposedly coming out and Manziel (has he announced either way?)
They'd be insane not to take Manziel. Guaranteed sellouts with that dude.

teddys stock has dopped more because of lack of competition than anything he really did wrong
i mean he was 28/4, 71% this year....what hurt him was not going undefeated against their schedule which was atrocious....people were talking about possible national championship for lousiville before the season....then it was ike they lost to central florida and not just the team but teddy himself was tossed aside
but really louisvilles schedule has nothing to do with teddy b as a pro prospect so i think that stuff is overblown....things can change thruout the interview and workout process but i think hes a top 5 pick and hes def the number one qb in the class....his one legit problem when it comes to the nfl is his size....he weighs less than johnny manzell...
one guy to look out for is brett hundley...in fact ill go out on limb here and say if he decides to come out he will ultimately be the first qb taken
yeah gargano loves him too, i haven't seen enough of him to have an opinion either way.
Yep - I went against the whole don't bet on a road team on Thursday night rule. I figured that Houston would play well and win.
lol me
cost Kubes his job...lol the owner specifically said that losing to Jacksonville twice was the final straw
yeah because a 2-11 team losing on the road to a 3-10 team is a dealbreaker
go 2-14 just make sure the two are against jacksonville....or else
almost everything i've seen still has teddy in the top 10 and most in the top 5.
ETA - what you're seeing is what you see this time of year, people try to stretch to throw another QB in the mix. I think McShay all of a sudden has Bortles in his top 15. I haven't watched UCF enough to know whether that's warranted, but you always get stretches where QBs start getting projected way higher than they've been all year right around now, especially with people like Mariotta not coming out.
Yup, they'll go into panic mode when someone is injured like Mettenberger or pulls out of the draft like Mariotta, and will backfill their picks.
i wouldnt have taken mettenberger in the 7th round.....he is AWFUL
Agreed 1000%, I didnt understand why he was even in the mention of the first 5 rounds.
i wont even say it was hype but i cant understand the experts talking him up even a little bit....he has a great arm but he is terrible in almost every other aspect there is having to do with the position
holy shtein Cordarrelle Patterson!
That Vikings/Ravens game is pretty good, too. Snow games are the best games.
Alaska will now be making a bid for an NFL team.
Whoaaaaaa BAL takes the lead!
holy shtein!
PIT missed the ultimate comeback by like 4 yards. They did the Music City Miracle shtein about 40 times and Antonio Brown stepped out inside the 5

Just a horrible call.
lol at Pass Interfence on Browns. BRady gonna win another one.
Whoaaaaaa what a ticky tack horseshtein call
I hate this team almost as much as Dallas.
Horrible PI call on the Browns.
Goodell luvs him some Patsies more than he luvs him some Iggles.
the pats didnt even really need that win and they still get it

Today's #MINvsBAL game featured SIX lead changes in the 4th quarter. That's an @NFL record
there were four touchdowns in the last two minutes of the 4th quarter......that has never happened and will never happen again
was it more gratifying than the eagles win
It was some Madden bullshtein and awesome to watch.

Do we want NO or CAR tonight?
I am thinking NO to give CAR another loss.
This is an awful game to listen to with headphones. The sound going to make my ears bleed.

I'm hearing something buzzing on the NBC feed. It's not my TV because the earlier games didn'thave the same problem.

im not disagreeing but why do you want another carolina loss versus another new orleans loss?
it all depends on who youd rather play....the team youd more rather avoid is the team you want to win....and im saying this from a eagles winning the nfce mindset...if that happens they are most likely going to play the nfcw or nfcs runner up
look at that little sproles run

I haven't looked that deep yet....but I would rather play Carolina
the 2003 eagles would say otherwise
the fact that he lost a home playoff game to jake delhomme and people still defend him is beyond me

Stat quirk I just noticed:
The difference in total points scored between Denver (515) and the team that has scored second-most (Seattle: 357) is bigger than the difference between Seattle and last-place Jacksonville (201).
Peyton isn't playing the same game as everyone else.
not a good start for the defenses tnite
Nope. Should be an entertaining game.
I also won't exactly be shedding tears if Cutler is back against the eagles. Mccown is locked in.
McManis of the Bears with one of the nicest sticks on a KOR I've seen in a long time. Trade for a 1st?
mckown going elway on their asses
If Dallas loses tonight I think they lose next wk on a short wk if Rodgers is back.
Rodgers with a medical eval Wednesday. Don't know which I'd rather see, Dallas implode in the last 3 games of the season or Eagles beat them week 17 for the division.
shady might go for 300 against the bears
if dallas can lose these next 2 the eagles can clinch in week 16 at home against the bears, so long as they dont choke against the vikings
that gives them the week 17 bye
I hope the snow taught him to pick his spots between dancing and just hitting the hole fast.
Yeah those holes will close a bit faster when there isn't snow, but with his speed, if he just bursts through he'll still pick up 6 -7 yards a pop.
Of course that style of running would wear his body down faster.
farg Dallas

duce needs to keep the detroit game in the dvd player at all times...its like the weight loss before and after photos....just show shady the first half of the game on what not to do and show him the second half on what to do....because as good asd he was in the 4q he was equally horrendous in the early parts of the game...that film is the ultimate teaching tool
is josh mccown this good or is dallas defense this bad

Dallas's pass D is so awful but mccown has been great this year.
right now both
ultimately tho the dallas defense is not good.....particularly the secondary....if d ware isnt getting pressure on the qb then they are in trouble
of course this all makes the foles performance against them even more baffling

I wouldn't want to tell Shady to just cut out all the jukes, jumps and jab steps behind the los but sometimes that is all he looks to do and then gets in a rut. Those things work best for him after he hits the second level. If he mixes it up and picks his spots, along with good play calling, he has the skills to do it all as his own change of pace back.
ALSHON!!!!
Amazing
This dude here is for real.
Wow. So good.
And they get the ball to start the 2nd.
holy fargin shtein what catch by Alshon!
that was disgusting

no watching a holder hold and a kicker kick is not that cool tirico
imho, dallas SUCKS :-D :yay
Romo just threw the ball away on 4th down
1st place baby
If eagles take care of business in Minn next week & Dallas loses to GB, Eagles clinch by beating either chi or Dallas.
You can run for 7 yards against the bears every play. Dallas fell behind too quickly. I have no idea how the eagles put up 3 points against this defense.

they are way out of sorts. going for it on 4th and 9 in the 3rd q, even down 21 is more on the desperate side. then throwing it away when you're opting to take a big gamble shows they are not at all on the same page.

45 pts to the shanahan griffin three lovefest
the best part of last night is that now barring a catastrophe dallas cannot clinch before the final game....my biggest fear was the eagles going to dallas a game back without the tiebreaker....that would have really sucked....id rather have the eagles just clinch before then....but theres a little something inside me that wants that game to be for the division.....that would be incredible
Yeah, what is bothering me is Romo (or if not, the D) hasn't been choking away the close ones in the last minute or two the last several games like they usually did. When they lose they lose big but when they win it's by a TD or less, usually in the last couple of minutes. They have a good 2 minute O. Granted it has been against mediocre competition but at this point I wouldn't want to see Romo get the ball back late and down a score. That's what I'd be afraid of with a head to head winner take all, and Chip will need to have his shtein together with the clock and play calling lest the ghost of AR past comes to haunt us.
Speaking of which - best case scenario? Eagles/Chefs SB in '15.
I never ever ever want the Eagles to face Reid in the SB because I already know how that's going to end.
Probably with Andy burning 3 timeouts in the 3rd Q to think of a really smart play on 4th and an inch (7 yard slant, incomplete). Then with 20 seconds left in the game and down by 2 points, takes too long to get the play in, pushing them out of field goal range as the kick falls 1 yard short. Media reports Eagles fans boo SB victory and punch police horses.

I just don't want to see Any in a SB again. I would love to see him repeatedly lose the AFCCG to the Chargers, Texans, and Jaguars, though.
