The Broncos could put up 60.
I think something crazy is going to happen this game. I think Manning gets hurt or some kind of weird on any given Sunday happening is going to happen. Or 100 points scored on the Eagles, same thing.
im interested in what the o/u is gonna be
I have a weird feeling the Eagles make a game out of it and only lose by 4...something like 27-23 or 35-31

denver on a short week, everyone
A SHORT WEEK!
Eagles running an offense where they want 100 plays with barely any rest between each one...in altitude.
Shoddy secondary that will be on the field a lot because of the offense (successful or unsuccessful)
Broncos - 42
Eagles - 27
I can't imagine anyone trying to run that offense in Denver. It's hard enough to run it in a normal atmosphere but to do it in a place where the other team has a huge physical advantage would be suicide.
So, of course Kelly will do just that...
Oh, and I also think this is the game Vick goes down for good. I'm not being a fleshpop here either. Just have a bad feeling that he's done.

Of course the Eagles will get crushed, but it will be due to playing a far superior team, not because of any bullshtein about the altitude. It has some effect, but it's way way overrated. It's become a dumb sports cliche. And it remains true that defenses get more tired than offenses, even if the defense is acclimated to 5000 ft and the offense is not.
The altitude thing is very much real for normal people and 300lb lineman. Freakishly fit RBs, WRs and DBs not so much. And it definitely doesn't bother QBs because if it did, the refs would throw a flag.

Not only that, but when your team is 1-2 and still somewhat inconsistent on offense, having the 8th highest yardage total in history is pretty meaningless. I mean, I guess it's sort of kind of impressive since the Eagles have managed to do it with about 60 min TOP in 3 games, but other that that it doesn't mean diddly. It's a cool feat for Denver because they're 3-0 and really good. The Eagles are a shtein show who dumbed themselves into the top 10 of a useless stat record. GO TEAM!
exactly....i wanna farging punch "roob" in the throat at least twice a day.... hes a farging sickening homer that makes pg look like an igy type hater
also each team has played one good defense.....denver put up 49....the eagles put up 16 and 5....thats turnovers not rebounds
i don't think chip comes out and runs the uptempo offense because he knows he has to hold onto the ball. you can't pigeonhole him into one style, he adapts to the situation. it made me lol to hear angelo saying today that chip has said he'll run the hurryup all the time no matter what. chip actually has said the opposite of that multiple times.
the problem with not running the hurry up is that it hurts the running game yet they still have a horrible qb
http://www.phillymag.com/eagles/2013/09/24/all-22-o-line-receivers-let-eagles-down/
good breakdown of the eagles o-line issues on Thursday
if the eagles don't run the hurry up they lose an edge that they can't afford to lose... and that's catching a good football team on their heels that they will desperately need to play catch up to manning
problem also though is Vick is dumber than a fork.. and to rely on his quick decision skills all game long is assinine. i mean shtein... has he ever gone to the line of scrimmage pre-snap, pointed and communicated with his o-line to where the blitz just "might" come. Love his arm hate his brain.
Regardless...it's fun to have all of this 'hope' pre-snap and have it turn into despair mid-play and end up with depression and disbelief at the end of the play...all in about 5 seconds. Each play. Every game. Every year. Go Eagles!
Peyton is bitching about having only 5 days to prepare for the Eagles while we had 9
1. The Eagles players were off until today
2. The Eagles had 3 games in 11 days
3. The Eagles have to fly out to Denver to face you
4. You're still gonna score 50
wah
him saying they are playing "a really good team" this week is much worse
Peyton could drop 30 on this defense after a 36 hr coke binge and no prep. Give him 1 hr of sober film study and he's good to go. Eagles d ain't that hard to figure out.
Is watching a simulated game on Madden considered film study?
No, because players make tackles in Madden sometimes.
Remember when Sean McDermott beat Peyton at The Linc?!
It can be done again!
Let's go!
I truly don't remember that. I thought he was undefeated against the birds.
Austin Collie was knocked out that day.
Let's do this!
Ok, I remember now.
It was the Kurt Coleman/Nate Allen special.
Last time the Birds were in Denver, it was TO's last game as an Eagle before the organization said "farg this"
TO scored on a long catch and run after the Bronco defender fell. If I recall the birds tried to keep it close but Jake the Snake and the Broncos ended up winning by quite a bit.
Eagles went down 28-0 early, but scored 21 unanswered...then a stalled drive or turnover and Eagles end up losing 40 something to 28 I think.

@cecillammey: In three games this season, Manning's average pass has traveled 8.0 yards downfield, his shortest since 2006. #Broncos
i noticed this too...i think his arm is done as far as the deep passes he used to throw. if the eagles had corners that could come close to jamming the broncos that would be the strategy and attack the LT

I expect them to get blown out. I mean seriously kicked in the face. Considering my instincts about those idiots are often 100% inaccurate, it wouldn't surprise me if they somehow eked out a win, though.
Bottom line is they have Manning and the Eagles have Vick. I just can't see any way the Eagles overcome that monumental difference in talent.
Vick is 2-0 against Manning
Which would you rather have as the Eagles quarterback?
The Broncos aren't going to win every game and they'll probably drop one to a lousy team, but I don't think it's gonna be to the farging Eagles.

Run/Incomplete pass/ no receivers open is my favorite start to any drive.
At least punt coverage is consistently enjoyable to watch.
Hey look, third down and an underneath route is left wide farging open.
Peyton Manning definitely needs free 1st downs.
Denver pretty much guaranteed to score here now. Thanks Fletcher Cock.

One week they're going to figure out how to defend that crazy route, and then offensive coordinators are going to shtein their pants in terror.
Yeah no reason to cover Welker down there in the red zone.
it is just manning using that sneaky veteran savvy to fool the D going to Welker there. how do you defend it?
Just take a knee next time little guy.

Celek is a farging bum
Celek may be the worst starter on the team, D included. They need to get rid of him at the end of the year but Chip won't because he wants 12 TEs.
Great, now we don't have to see the worst part of the team again for at least three plays. I hope.
That's 1 way to keep Peyton Manning off the field. Doesn't seem very effective though.
Kelly wants to make sure that Manning doesn't beat them. Good game plan!
Get rid of Henery too.
You can't kick it out of the end zone?

Oh look Ma - a Lane Johnson penalty.

Huge play by BB!!
Chris Polk?
shtein man. Sup Shady?!
Polk, Casey, everyone's getting involved. Offense looks legit today. Now can the defense stop Manning or do they have to wait for the Broncos to stop themselves like on the last drive?
Oh and the answer is that the defense can't stop Manning.
Easiest 14 yard pickup I've ever seen.

Not a good sign when your defense is getting consistently beaten by Knowshon Moreno.

Why the farg did they do that?!?

:o
If the Broncos keep making dumb mistakes they're not going to win by very much at all.
Know who's a good football player? Bradley Fletcher. If he plays vs. the Chargers the Eagles win that game.
Other than the opener, Cary Williams has pretty much been hot garbage. I kind of hope Chipper tells him the rest of the season is optional.
Williams has been shtein so far. Talks a big game yet he blows as bad as the rest of those hacks back there.

See current Phillies roster

QuoteTwo great back to back catches by Maehl. Dragged a Broncos corner for like 15 additional yards, then scores the TD. I hope that's the first of many many TDs for Foles to Maehl.
QuoteGreat catch and run by Jeff Maehl, then he scored a touchdown on the next play. I thought he was Zach Ertz at first as he showed the strength and determination of a bull.
QuoteNick Foles comes in and rather easily leads a scoring drive, with Maehl catching the TD. Vick's days should be numbered, and I believe Maehl needs to be getting more playing time.
the other cf, ladies and gents.
Oh yeah, I'm feeling the Jeff Maehl thing. Gun to temple now. Jesus farging Christ. No wonder people shoot each other.

You know who's awesome? Howie Roseman.
Scratch that
Jeffrey Lurie
We had Kelly Green unis
Now we have midnight green, wind turbines and solar panels, and a zesty team. He's too liberal for his own good. I hope he sells the team to some angry Republican dickhead.
I don't know if he was a Republican, but Norman Braman was definitely a fleshpophead.
Get blown out by the best team in the league lead by a top 5 all time QB, in the coach's 4th career game using players inherited from the last coach that don't fit his system.
SLIT WRISTS IT'S ALL OVER. :paranoid
The defense was absolutely disgusting. They can't do anything about it now but every pick they have in the draft and every available free agency penny they have has to go towards fixing that busted hymen of a unit.
I'm as down on the team as anyone...but the toughest part of their schedule is over. Still think they win 6 games max but with the way the East is this season 8-8 isn't out of reach.
And I'm having a hard time getting mad at Kelly, he didn't exactly walk into a great situation. His schemes are fine, he doesn't have the players to execute. Riley Cooper is the teams #2 receiver...he should t be on a practice squad much less an NFL roster. The real problem is Howie Roseman.
The reactionary clowns in the fan base have already started calling for Kelly's scalp which is hilarious. Vince Lombardi couldn't win with this sack of vomit roster.
Roseman needs to go. Period. Gamble = perfect replacement.
i expected a loss but that was farging horrible. still sticking with 6 wins cause as we all see this division farging blows. if they are gonna get some wins it in this next stretch of five games.
BTW - can we start ripping into sconce willaims yet ? cause he is part of the problem not the solution in the defensive backfield.
the offense is the biggest concern right now. we all knew the defense was going to be putrid, so that shouldn't be a surprise. they are not scoring points like a lot of people thought they would/should be

That's exactly right. I knew coming into the season that if the Eagles were going to be competitive that the final scores would need to look like something from a basketball game. The defense was going to be bad.
The offense, though...that's Chip's bread and butter. And they've looked like shtein.

has nothing to do with yesterdays game....theres a bigger picture to look at and it aint pretty
bad coach
no qb of the future
basically need nine or ten new players on defense
three fifths of the OL is in their 30's and the two young ones arent very good
They're second in the NFL in total yards per game. They've moved the ball at will. They've also had idiotic penalties, pass drops & fumbles at the worst possible times. The problem isn't offensive production. It's the unit's inefficiency and mistakes.
production is a problem, farg yards it's points that matter. that being said, imo yards are a product of a scheme that can work on this level. points (especially redzone) comes down to personnel with QB being one of the chief issues
I'd take Aaron Hernandez in a second over Celek.
More to the point they need a QB who will get in someone's ass if they drop an easy one like Celek did yesterday and Vick ain't that guy.
If they weren't playing like dogs he'd be allowed to get on them, but then he wouldn't need to.

he cant do that because he is an awful quarterback...how would it look yelling at celek for that drop when the five plays before and after the drop vick missed open receivers all over the field
did anyone notice how slow they are going yesterday?
clearly chip was apprehensive about playing at the pace they played at in the first 2-3 games, especially the first 2. couldnt risk putting his other worldly awful defense on the field. understandable.
look we all know there is next to no talent on this team and jewface isnt exactly the most promising guy to bring some in. so....DRINK UP
QBs aren't allowed to get in receivers faces or exhibit any emotion.
Haven't you learned anything from Tom Brady being forced to apologize?!?
should vick get in someone face? what leg does he have to stand on
he sucks.....um...donkey dick?
The only one Vick can look right in the eye is Damaris Johnson and maybe pimp.
