Title: Bradley Fletcher, Philadelphia Eagle
Post by: BigEd76 on March 12, 2013, 08:18:00 PM
2-yr deal.  6'0" 200 CB from the Rams.  4 years in the league, had his best season in 2010, missed most of 2011 with a torn ACL, lost his starting job to Janoris Jenkins, dropped to 4th CB and they didn't want him back

Relatively young experienced depth, sounds okay to me.  Even if he starts...could he be that much worse than Asomugha?

I wouldn't be much worse than Assy.

How good at you at looking angry and confused at people?

You can't see it, but I'm looking at you like that for even asking. And it's fantastic.

And I don't know for sure, but I bet I'd be amazing at getting millions and providing nothing of value in return.

I'll bet you haven't even tried. So yeah, probably.

He actually is better than Asomugha was. He's also better than a pile of dog shtein. By a little bit.

Remember when this team had good corners for farging decades? Those were good times.

Lito, Sheldon, Bobby, Troy, Al Harris, Eric Allen, Mark McMillian....all better right now than Fletcher.

Someone call Izell and let him know that his nickname has been passed along

Fletcher is not the problem, the problem is he shouldn't be matched up against the likes of Dez Bryant and Jordy Nelson. The rest of the league knows he doesn't have the size or speed to stay with these guys one on one. Hard to blame him when they don't give him help. As a 2nd/3rd CB he's fine. Dallas clearly watched the GB game tape and learned how to isolate Dez on Fletcher.

Seriously. Bradley farging Fletcher was not the issue last night. I'm far more apt to blame Cary Williams' dumb ass. Then again, my default setting is to blame Cary Williams for everything so maybe my take shouldn't be the final word on the subject.

Whoever you want to blame, the Eagles would be better off replacing both of them.

Relax, boys.

Bad Ass Billy Davis says that Mr Third Degree will start in Washington.

Why not Carroll?

Because he's good in the dime....

dez bryant has beaten way better cornerbacks in his career than bradley fletcher....the eagles have exactly one player on their roster - offense or defense - who is as good as dez bryant...sometimes the other team just has better players

I don't want to tell you how to live your life, man. If this is the hill you want to die on, you go on and do it.

to a certain extent yes

to another extent...the eagles are up 24-21, they have all the momentum, then they let dallas drive down and score in 13 seconds. it was not all on the dez play.

^^^^^^ :yay :yay

throw in Magnum PI's fumble and there's your momemtum killers.

As much as I want to crucify Fletcher this is one was a complete team/staff effort.

yeah that happens when the other team has better players....the eagles had a dream game on thanksgiving because romo was hurt and on four days rest...but in reality the dallas offensive line is better than the eagles front seven and their skill position players are better than the eagles coverage guys....they also have a superior qb....really any of us should be surprised anytime they stop dallas....everytime these two teams play it should be 40-37ish

This Dallas team is better than their early 90's team.

nah....but they will do something those teams didn't do....go undefeated on the road....in fact they will be only the third team in the last 25 years to have done that
