I don't keep a mileage book for work. When it's tax time, I page through my invoices to see where I was each day, and then plot the round trip on google maps to figure how much mileage to claim. Some of the job sites I go to each year are the same as I have clients for whom I do work year on year, but others are new clients whose address I don't know. So I have to use the satellite image to find the house and then street view to find the number.
I had to look up one client this year for whom I performed maybe ten days of work. I find the house, go to street view....
And see my truck sitting in the driveway. Spooky.
I went to a football game once and was momentarily visible on television.

I didn't have time to watch the video earlier, but technologically speaking, that's pretty damn awesome. And if you think about it from a crime-fighting standpoint, it seems like it would be fairly easy to track the movements of a criminal as he/she fleas the scene. Take a convenience store robber for example. He robs the store and gets away. If that plane is flying overhead then you can use the video log to follow the criminal as he leaves the store and follow him back to his house, or wherever it is he goes. Dispatch the cops, make the arrest.
Too bad we're probably 50 years away from the gov't using that technology for good rather than evil.
I also know that I'm going to make it a point to have a lot more outdoor sex now that I know someone might be watching. And I'll probably start randomly flipping off the sky, too.

Big Brother doesn't even need to leave his office now to find that palatial mansion you've built on your 20 acres out in BFE. Now he has the ability to see it, measure it down to the hundredth of an inch, and then back-tax and fine your ass back to the stone age for "forgetting" to file a permit before you built it.
Plus you can lock that gate and post all the no trespassing signs you want. Makes no difference to him. He can see it all, baby.
I used to work with AEGIS when I was in the Navy. It wasn't this advanced and it didn't provide this broad of range but their satellite's could pinpoint everything.
What hit me most is that it can pick up objects up to six-inches away from the floor. I guess I'm safe if I'm lying down on floor with an erection, I should pretty much fly under the radar.
Put this up on the border, track people crossing, send teams to pick them up.
