Tebow wears eye black that says "Jesus" and Jesus wore eye black that said "Tebow."  They're besties.

Checking GameCenter before going to bed, I see that Denver just took a TO on 3rd and 2 with three seconds left in the third quarter.  Excellent spot to burn a TO...must be taking lessons from Andy f'n Reid.  The play after the TO?  False start.  3rd and 7.  Tebow incomplete.  End of 3rd quarter.

pathetic

I can only imagine that the play clock would have run out before the game clock and that's why they took the TO.  I can't think of any other reason to take it at that point.

That's what happened.  They miscalculated when the quarter was going to end.

Tebow still sucks but just had a 95-yd TD drive to beat the Jets.  Amazing

The Lions have completely imploded.

DonHo scored a 100yd kickoff against them and Stafford has about 20 picks

Point is that they explain some basic stuff for fans who don't have 25 years of watching experience under their belt.

Norv Turner channeled his inner Kotite & Reid

Forte is ruled down by contact.

Norv calls a timeout

then after the timeout he challenges and loses

two TOs burned within seconds.

Heard some guys talking about this on the radio today.  Favre was ruled out because he's not a Martz kind of QB.  They mentioned Bulger, which kind of made sense.  Then started talking about Trent Green.  I'm pretty sure there's a Martz system QB who was much more successful than either of those guys sitting out there.  Not that they're going to call him, but to not even mention his name was a little silly I thought.

Title: Re: Week Eleven 2011
Post by: Munson on November 22, 2011, 07:46:35 PM
yeah WTF would they do that? There's a shortage of decent QB's this year with all the injuries, all cutting Orton does is help out some of your possible competition to get into the playoffs/in the playoffs.
Title: Re: Week Eleven 2011
Post by: reese125 on November 22, 2011, 08:26:34 PM
you either save some cash or get nothing when orton walks next year as a free agent

they should have traded his ass by the deadline.
Title: Re: Week Eleven 2011
Post by: ice grillin you on November 23, 2011, 07:17:37 AM
they save 2.5 mil if kc or chicago claim him off a guy who will never play again for them

because the of the timing of the latest qb injuries and the ridiculously early nfl trading deadline there was no market for orton as far as a trade
