Akers just boomed a 55yd FG.
Lions got the ball back down by 6 with a minute and some change left and they looked like the Eagles in the SB. No sense of urgency and no clue.
After they gave up the go ahead score to San Fran, they've run 7 offensive plays (all pass 4 and out, and then 3 on the next possession) and not one of them went beyond 10 yards down field and none in Calvin Johnson's direction. Not sure if they forgot, but that guy's pretty good. Might want to just toss one up for grabs and let him go get it.
edit - tried a hook and lateral with CJ for the final play of the game and whoever he was lateraling to dropped the ball. 9ers win.
lol @ harbaugh acting like an idiot at the handshake and scwartz trying to beat him down
schwartz should have decked him
harbaugh was dancing around like he won the super bowl
A.J. Hawk's pockets are about to be a little lighter. After a sack... towards his own sideline.

when they first showed it i thought it was one of his own assistants he was congratulating....then i was like wait thats a lions jacket...and its scwartz
and the yahoo article is excellent, I'm sorry when has any of the Eagles acted like that idiot.

QuoteBut back to Hawk; if the Lambeau Leap is how Packers' celebrate touchdowns, what will his middle finger be known as? The Bay Bird? The Packers Phlip? The Green Bay Gesture? And does his on-field rudeness instantly make Hawk a favorite to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles one day?
WTH is that?

Um thats a falcon jersey he's wearing, maybe your color blind? :paranoid
Still the same guy though dumb dumb.
Yeah, but the article made it seem like the Eagles area bunch of thugs on the field. They are the DREAM team, not thugs!!
i think this guy has a learning disability
lol at equating giving the finger to being a thug

That's right! Up yours buddy. :flipoff
Well that helps explain the relationship between you two.
Wow, what a catch and throw from Boldin and Flacco.
And Dallas chokes
i had NE in a couple of teases, so this is nice
also nice: dallas being dallas
How good is Tom Brady?
best ever good
Nothing gives your team a better chance at winning than a hail mary that's 5 yds short and oob. Worst hail mary throw ever?
I personally liked how he took 7 seconds to check down the two plays before that.
He couldn't even give me the common courtesy of a pick six to end it.
if yall want to watch something funny, mcfatso against the bears d tonight will suffice
Safety on McNabb.
it wasnt his fault
nothing ever is
Sean Payton fractured his tibia and tore his ACL
Hester is sick!
McNabb got pulled for Ponder
Bucs d-backs coach tore his knee up celebrating the game clinching int. No word yet if he's related to Bill Gramatica.
NFC South is losing coaches left and right. Someone should see if they're looking for cheap Mexican replacements.
New Orleans def won't be. They play on turf.
sarge has been doin work tonight.
Holy crap, how many fantasy losers did Hester turn into winners last night?
The "Suck for Luck" race after tonight's game:
1 = Indianapolis
2 = Miami
3 = St. Louis
4 = Jacksonville
5 = Carolina
6 = Minnesota
7 = Arizona
8 = Denver
9 = EAGLES
10 = Cleveland
About half those teams would either pass on Luck or (more likely) trade out of the 1st pick if they get it.

other than possibly carolina none of them would....the only one that would even have a decision to make would be st louis and they would trade bradford
luck is a once in a lifetime qb and you dont pass him up
I would bet you anything that if St Louis got the 1st pick Bradford would not be traded.
All you need is serious help on the offensive line and some legit receivers and Bradford is solid. The same problems Luck is going to go through when he gets with any zesty team.
you have no idea what kind of prospect luck is....right now hes easily better than bradford...and bradford has a chance to be pretty good
short of some beyond outrageous offer for luck the team with the number one pick is taking him
We will disagree on this and that's fine, but I just feel that if the Rams are somehow staring at the #1 pick and they are looking at their team as a whole I don't see how taking Luck makes sense.
You look back on the season and you say to yourself where was our most glaring weakness and how do we improve? I don't think the Rams are going to say Sam Bradford. Now look at the past squads that took a qb #1 like Carolina, Detroit and even the Rams--all desperate for a qb and rightfully so.
The Rams are not desperate for a qb-far from it.
Miami is the only team on that list that's desperate for a QB and they might go 1-15 anyway
you dont have to be desperate for a qb to take luck
lol @ someone passing him up because you have christian ponder tim tebow or kevin cobb....or even an ancient peyton manning with suspect vertabrae
Tebow and Kolb are career backup qb's (hell-Tebow is probably below that even) and Ponder is still a question mark. So yeah-Luck would make sense for those teams.
Indy would be the ideal scenario. Manning still has a few years left so Luck could ride the bench and learn. Any other team will need him to start almost immediately. Of course, there's no guarantee that Luck comes out next year. He still has 1 more year of eligibility.
he only came back last year to finish his degree and make a natty run...degree will be done this year and its natty or bust
not a chance he doesnt come out this year
I give it a 1% chance he goes back. The option is there, so it can never be ruled out completely.
I firmly disagree and think the chance is closer to 0.574%.
Igy's right, Carolina and GB would be the only teams to pass on the chance to get luck. He's the highest rated player ever coming out int the draft. Mel has him rated at 99.9. Anyone who has seen him play knows why. I'd give Vick, Pimp, and Shady for the chance. That might not even do it. There are a lot of talking heads out there that say that it will cost a team at least two number 1's, possibly more.
There are more than just two teams that would trade the pick before actually drafting and signing Andrew Luck, but chances are that very few of them would pick #1 overall.... And the team that does end up picking #1 overall will almost certainly hold on to the pick and take him. Let's look at the top 10 again and assume no one else has a real shot at drafting #1:
1 = Indianapolis - would definitely take Luck, hope to sit him behind Peyton for a year or two but insert him immediately if Manning's career is over
2 = Miami - ownership spontaneously ejaculates at the mere thought
3 = St. Louis - Bradford has proven this year that he is still a bit brittle and that he cannot make the other players around him look much better than they are, pretty sure they would take Luck and trade Sammy B
4 = Jacksonville - bye bye Blaine
5 = Carolina - probably the only team on this list that would trade the pick, and they would probably get so much to do it that they would be able to justify it for a long time - but if Cam doesn't string together a few wins, he could be the one to go for sure
6 = Minnesota - bye bye Ponder
7 = Arizona - bye bye Kolbsy
8 = Denver - slam farging dunk right here, don't forget Elway is in charge
9 = EAGLES - never know with the "smartest guys in the room" running things, but I don't think even Andy could pass this up - might be a different story if Vick were 5-6 years younger
10 = Cleveland - bye bye Colt
^^^^
that is accurate
igy dark horse: new england.....they have a crapload of picks stockpiled...dont be surprised if they make a monster run at him
It would almost be unfair to give him a year as a backup behind Brady or Manning. But I'd be glad he's in the AFC.
It's pretty awesome that the skins have no shot at him. That would have been worst-case scenario.
i wouldnt put anything past snyder...not saying they are a favorite or anything but its way presumptuous to say they have no shot and it wouldnt surprise me if they overpaid for him...if its even possible to overpay for andrew luck
The only way that they could "overpay" would be to basically trade their entire draft and probably at least one of their best players for him. Something like Orakpo with 1st and 2nd rounders in 2012 and 2013 might get it done.
hes going to miami. its already a done deal. get ready for 100000000000000000000000000000 dan marino stories.
why would there be marino stories...there will be talk of how the dolphins have been looking for a qb since marino but luck and marino couldnt be more different

yeah because marino definitely wasnt a good enough QB to win a superbowl
maybe he wasnt
and Im dead serious

because marino was really good, set a gazillion records, was a superstar and the face of the franchise, and now after 10 years in the shteinter, they have someone to actually replace him.
did i really need to explain that?
