This game has been entertaining so far.
Aaron Rodgers is the shtein. No qb out there any better right now
Brees ain't bad either.
just automatically place the ball on the 20 after a score/half because this shtein with touchbacks is horrendous.
Randall Cobb says you're being overly dramatic.
Exciting end to that game, but the last play was disappointing and predictable. Bottom five, all time?
Horrible call. Packers had that read all the way. What a start to the season!
wow awesome game though.
did i really hear that there was only 2 touchbacks all year at lambeau last year? how is that possible?
what a swing play in vegas
everyone had gb in the 4-5 area....a td there and the house is laughing
instead i am. 1-0.
You heard correctly, Matty - pretty amazing stat.
Great game!
AJ Hawk looked like Super Fly Snooka coming off the top turn buckle on the PI call in the end zone.
-- Newton has 315 yds passing in 3 quarters, breaking Peyton's record for most by a rookie in their first NFL game. Carolina is beating the Kolbs in the desert
-- SD lost Kaeding on the opening kickoff, so they've had no kicker for the whole game. Their punter just kicked a FG
Patrick Peterson just returned a punt for a TD
-- McNabb finishes 7/15, 39 yds. Mock?
-- Kolb has over 300 yds passing
Newton over 400 yds passing and the Panthers are 10 yds away from tying it late. This game is amazing
Falls 1 yd short of converting the 1st down but ties Stafford for a rookie passing record in any week
easy clearly enjoying his free redzone preview
Hell yeah
Ted Ginn returns a kickoff and a punt for TDs within 1 minute to blow this Niner game open
poignant my ass
get on with the game

crucial fumble by romo there.
Kaeding tore his ACL trying to make a tackle on that opening kickoff returned by Harvin and is done for the season

Thanks for the 0 on my fantasy team schmegma (right spelling MDS?).
i have (had) him in fantasy as well
Queer.
Eric Berry (torn ACL) and Jon Beason (torn Achilles) are done for the year too
Kevin Walter (broken shoulder) out 3 months
good to see the pats rookie offensive lineman becoming an all pro in his first game while danny engine house 9 watkins cant get on the field
I was thinking the same thing. Solder looking pretty good so far.
until now....altho the sack was more on brady
And on cue he gets owned on consecutive plays.

lol
better to use his jersey number, but solid nick name. Way better than the hideousness you've bestowed upon Asomugha.
I saw a clip on CSN of him visiting firehouses the other day too
i went from assy to classy is top notch
IGY chose "Engine House 9" because he has Black Sheep on the brain.
Henne looking pretty good so far. Not catching any boos from Dolphins fans yet.
Janikowski just hit a 63 yarder.
Brady threw for 517 yards and 4 td's.
Mock?
i am on the raiders bandwagon
1. no institutional leadership
2. possible dead owner
3. head coach named hue
4. cheap and dirty players
5. fan base made up entirely of criminals and mexican gang members
silver and black is back
I almost want to see an 8,000 yard season for a QB. Almost.

Shame that stillupfront got banned again, he'd actually have a reason to call someone colored.
i remember when 300 yards was a great day for a quarterback and would make headlines....shtein has been watered down so bad by the pro offense attitude of the league...now if you dont get 300 you had an off week
bedwetter threw for 39.....lol
a certain someone kept saying how good he looked and how he was "back"
guess who that is

The Pats didn't want to play him. Injuries forced him into action.
Seriously, your alarmist attitude about this stuff is sometimes just confusing.

So you're saying that the Pats draft better depth than the Eagles do starters?

lol...yeah the pats by accident starters are better than the eagles intended ones

YES!
But seriously, I don't think Solder played great or anything. And I don't know how good/bad Watkins would look in there. My assumption is that Reid/Mudd felt giving the fireman his first two NFL starts in unfriendly dome environs was not a good way to give him confidence. I think he will be in the starting lineup after the bye.
At least the Pats drafted him ahead of the Eagles pick. Had they drafted afterwards it would be down right comical.
ill give yall a hint
his name begins with a homer and ends with a J

this is true
but really can it get more comical than drafting a 27 year old canadian firefighter whos a beginner at football

That depends....does Watkins dress up like a clown and do birthday parties?
And I'm not even close to being as down on the guy as you are and I hope that the guy turns into a player. But for the Pats to move up in the draft and take a guy who was intended to be OL depth and watch him play a very good game against a good pass rusher just pisses me off to no end. But the Eagles are "all in."

Don't mention the "beginner at football" thing again, unless you want to put away your rager for JPP and latch onto Graham.

It's ironic that a few of you are gobbling all over the draft picks of New England, when a lot of Pats fans have been highly critical of NE's past five drafts or so.
I'd be critical, too, if the Eagles had gone from winning the Superbowl three out of four years to not making or losing it. I'd blame the rookies, the free agent signings, the assistant coaching purge, IGY, MDS, Lurie, and secretly myself for not believing in them hard enough.

i didnt see anyone talking about any new england drafts....but please dont bring up the opinions of patriot fans again...they are red sock fans who jumped on the pats bandwagon and dont know the first thing about football much less draft picks
You'd think they'd have learned something in the ten years the Patriots have been relevant.
