wow
flag
Cowturds were also interested in Cullen..HA
Oh, hell yes!!
you lose.
who's odd man out? bunk?
Jenkins was a 3-4 end right? hopefully he's not too small for 4-3 dt
now they just need a linebacker
Howie is making Jerruh Jones his bitch. I love it.
i was first, too
its just another life lesson. anyway i shake it i cant beat johnny cakes.
awesome
No way. Ha
What the hell is going on in Eagle land? Who spiked the kool-aid down there?
Howie says they see him as a pass rushing DT in nickel. i think he'll see time as DE on running situations
I'm just speechless at this point.
Who the farg are these guys and what have they done with the clowns who used to run the team?
What in god's name is going on? I'm still coming down from yesterday.
They take 1-upping the Phils very seriously apparently.
I wasn't aware "all in" literally meant signing "all" available free agents.
What in god's name is going on? I'm still coming down from yesterday.
I'm so jacked I'll post it twice.
So Ruben trades for Matt Kemp this evening?
When asked if they still have money to spend banner said "oh hell yeah"
Caplan also said they have more money than people realize because of cap credit from last year
This is just insane at this point.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there's much left on the Houston roster that he can pillage while he has Ed Wade bent over his desk.

This is surreal. Banner moonlighting as a crime fighter too?
Any shtein talking on Roseman is out the window at this point.
Apparently dude does have some very nice negotiating skills. He's got other GM's just scratching their head and balls. Respect.

Just more productive.
Sweet!!
Gotta give props to Howie.
Any bitching I did about the Babin signing I take back. I thought he'd be their big splash. Jenkins is a perfect fit for what this D does. Unbelievable job of identifying problems and finding solutions. And they get credit for letting the market value set and not overspending.
I'm afraid this is going to take the cap space award away from them this year. Shame.
Dear Howie and Andy,
I love you.
Sincerely,
Me
Lots of love being sent Howie and Banner's way tonight. But what happens if they don't cake off Pimp?

What the hell does this mean? I assume you are making some kind of reference to D-Jax holding out. I'm not up to speed on my jive talk, bear with me while I get up to speed.
Each time I take a few hours off and come back the FO has notched another wow.
I hope to return tomorrow and see a new thread, "Reggie White, Philadelphia Eagle"
I was watching NFL Network tonight and they said that the Eagles still had a LOT of cap space to lock up DJackson, sign Plaxico and sign a LB + more. Mainly because they had a shtein ton of space to start with, got the cap credit and then the deals they did were all really cap friendly.
They have to get Vick a new deal as well, don't they?

Yeah but considering he's currently getting north of 15 million this season, I think a new deal actually might lower his cap number this season.
yes, and I do think I read (on here?) that a deal for Vick was in the works.
Cowboy fans are losing their shtein (again) over this.
Two fargings in two days.
lol
Who can the Eagles take from them tomorrow?

I've been reading that all over the place of late. Being forced to spend the cap is really paying off for them being so cheap the past few years. Even in '04 they stopped with TO and Kearse.

I *almost* wish I was still in TX just so I could listen to sports talk radio come monday. They've gotta be losing their shtein down there.

I don't think I can take any more. This is just unreal.

I've followed the birds since 197........I'll stop there, and nothing compares to the past two days. Yes, I'm old enough to remember them trading for Roman Gabriel which at the time was huge. Bergey was big but not off the charts. Jaws? Nah. Reggie was huge now that we look back on it but he was coming from the USFL. McMahon, only because of the wild and crazy thing plus the Bears, we all knew he couldn't last a season. Ricky Watters? Very big but hat lost it's punch after his first game against Tampa and the whole alligator arms "For what? For who?" stunt. Other than 2004 with TO and Kearse, 2011 takes it, hands down.
What the hell has happened to Joe Banner and who is this guy who looks like him running the Eagles front office?
how under the radar is this signing
It would be getting a lot more press if Dallas was able to close the deal, but being at best the 2nd-most interesting acquisition for the Eagles, it's definitely taken a back seat.
This reminds me of the Kearse signing in some ways. While the news came out first in that situation and was a huge surprise to almost everyone, the Owens trade drama took over big time.

Lets just hope he's healthy and stays that way
If he does this will be the first time the Eagles have had an inside pass rush since Corey Simon was young.

jenkins restructured his deal to stay with the team today
good to hear
I'm sure he loved doing that considering he hadn't even signed that 5/25 deal at this time last year..
hes old anyway and wont be around when and if this team ever wins
Good news; I was expecting to hear that The Brain Tru$t was going to send him packing because they didnt want to pay the roster bonus. He's a very good player.
This news pleases me.
thought they didn't make them like that anymore
http://www.csnphilly.com/blog/eagles-talk/post/Jenkins-likes-Eagles-enough-to-take-pay-?blockID=655086&feedID=692
he's going to be even more thrilled next year when the eagles ask him to pay them for playing for them.
Schefter reporting Jenkins is getting released. Awful signing

I thought he was fine. I think they will regret losing him and watching him play well for the Giants. Got to hope Howie and brain trust are able to find a replacement. Hold me.
