The few times I've seen Rolle on the field he did well in coverage and was at least around the play when they ran the ball. Not saying the guy is good because we all know he's a career nickle LB/special teamer but I can say with a great deal of confidence he's better than Casey Matthews who is by far the worst starting player at any position in the league.

No problem. Start Matthews, eat the TD that he gives up on the first play... and put in Rolle.

one of the reasons i didnt want him as DC is that hes way to much of a players coach and too loyal....thats cool when you are a position coach because you can stand by your guys and make all the promises you want as you have no decision making power whatsoever...but it doesnt work when you need to make calls on who is going to start and whose ass needs to go on the pine
