Title: 2010 Week Nine Thread
Post by: PhillyPhreak54 on November 07, 2010, 01:08:48 PM
It is unbelievable how AWFUL the Chargers STs have been...they had another punt blocked!!

How does their coach keep his job?!

Mike Bell....still averaging about a half a yard a carry...

Ravens ahead early

Brees picked off again!

Pats down 10 early...

Favre picked off and Kerry Rhodes gets stripped at the goal line and it goes out of bounds for a touchback.

Sloppy ball early on.

Ravens v. Dolphins is pretty good so far..both of these teams are superior to the Eagles.

Another one of those catches that's not a catch according to the stupid rule just happened in Houston. Foster caught the ball and it touched the ground after he had control. Dumb rule

So the Jets rough the Lions kicker on a FG from the 3, the Lions take the penalty and get the TD, and Boy named Sue comes in to kick the extra point for the injured kicker and doinks it off the upright :-D

And the Bills drive down to score a TD and tie the game....except they get the extra point blocked and are instead down 14-13

They seem to like finding ways to lose this season, still a lot of time left though

lol at the giant "farg!" heard on the field at the ARI/MIN game, and the second or so of awkward silence before Goose says "heck of a playcall there!"

Detroit/Jets turned out to be a good close one. Jets come back to force OT, get the coin toss and win 23-20.

Oakland gets a lucky catch at the end of the game, then drunk kicker forces OT and wins it

It's been said before, but detroit appears to be on the rise. They really look like they could be legit next year. They lost a tough game against a superior team. The cardinals are on the decline and were never really that good to begins with, even when they went to the SB. The Bills are a mess and will be for a while.

I agree about Detroit. They have a good young team that should start making the playoffs either next year or the year after

If Stafford's shoulder doesn't keep falling apart

I actually posted that before I realized what happened with Stafford's shoulder.  Yeah.....if Stafford can't stay healthy then it's going to be another 5+ years before they are able to find another quality QB.  And by that time, the studs they have now will either be old, retired or departed via free agency.

Matt Moore also done (torn labrum). Things just keep getting better in Carolina.

TO gets 10/141 w/ 2 TDs but his team falls to 2-6

only a semi-mock cause 150 career TDs is HOFworthy (plus he's been off the Birds radar for 3 years)
