Starting for the 49ers at QB against the Broncos in London? Troy Smith.
3rd string qb, two top teams in the nfl battling it out, lots of rain....does it get any better?

a crack pipe and some highway helmet
mmmm....now you're talkin.
So San Fran leads Denver 3-0 at the start of hte 3rd quarter. The Brits are getting some high quality NFL football action
It's still better than soccer.
Field......GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
100% agreed
All of these early games are snoozers.
Baby Jeezus scored for the Donkeys.
He may have to play QB because Orton got killed by Manny Lawson
so Buffalo drove it down but missed a 53 yarder for the win. KC took it all the way back down to the 21, then their kicker missses the 38 yarder for the win.
There's about 3:38 left in OT and only one TO between the two teams. Could very well be looking at a tie
Bills are winless and they're playing for a tie by punting here? Pathetic.
And they lose.
Brad Childress is challenging one of the least questionable catches ever.
Brad Childress is one of the worst coaches in the NFL.

They deserved it. I can't get over that playcall. Sure, the odds were that the Bills would have blown the 4th down. But they needed the win, and they just gave it away. How does a tie help a winless team any more than a loss?

Maybe they were just playing to not go 0-16.
its nothing that everyone doesnt already know but new englands john hannahs might the most buttery ever
Straight up uniform porn, yes.
its unbelievable how scared of getting sacked farve is...and this goes back to before this ankle injury.....he would literally walk over to a defender and gently lay the ball in his hands if it means he doesnt take a hit
It's unbelievable that the Eagles couldn't exploit the Dallas defense last season. It looks absolutely brutal this year and is essentially the same personnel.
i dont mind them going for it but that was the worst play call ive ever seen

Both kickers made their kicks but got iced, then each missed after the timeouts
randy moss completely gave up on that ball the announcers didnt say a word about it....unreal
uhh....Moss definitely reached out for that ball after the replay. From the usual angle at full speed itlooked like he pulled up on it but the replay def shows him stretching out to try and make the catch
As much as I hate the Patriots, you have to admit the online, the QB and the coach are tops. Everybody else doesn't matter on that team, they just benefit from it. You could have anyone running or receiving and they would look like studs. Christ

WTF were you watching? He totally gave up. He drew the flag and packed it in. And Brennaman and Aikman said nothing.

I said that too. It didn't look AS bad watching the replays, but watching it live it was obvious he just quit on that ball.
i thought it looked exactly the same on replay....but slower
The highest scoring team in the NFC halfway through the season is...Detroit.
And Raheem Morris, who I like, may have been onto something. Tampa looks pretty damn good.
He stopped running, but it didn't look like the usual Moss give up, just looked like he tried to settle down in the zone right as the ball was thrown and ended up having to reach for it. Unless you're arguing that he was going three quarter speed the whole route, which he obviously was, but that's nothing new. But when Moss gives up, he gives up. No way he reaches out/stretches out for a ball over the middle like that if he had really given up on the play.

Josh Freeman looks pretty good too. Making some great throws and more importantly keeping the mistakes to a minimum.
He reached a hand out after it hit the ground. And he wasn't really over the middle. He knew there was no safety there because it was the safety who hit and interfered with him. He cadillac'd it big time.
Are we talking about the same play? The one where Favre took it on the chin?

I'm not defending Moss because he half asses it all the time but on that play I don't think you can say he gave up on it. He's not the type to stretch out for a ball like that over the middle when he gives up on a play. Plus I thought the penalty was on the guy covering Harvin? Because whoever contacted Moss didn't do so until after the ball was through his hands.
No, the play I'm talking about, and I think Phreak is talking about, is the deep pass down the sidelines that he could have caught but decided he wasn't interested after the flag was thrown.
Yep, I freaked out on that play (got Moss in fantasy). Dude was in position to make the catch. It was like he thought the flag ended the action.
Second biggest "WHAT THE farg ARE YOU DOING!" at the TV of the day (after the Bills punt).

Ah okay, that explains the confusion. I saw IGY's post after the Brett Favre chin shot, thought he was talking about that play and etc.
I did the same thing QB did on the play you guys were talking about...bitched because he's on my fantasy team :boom
Just so happens that the guy I'm playing has Moss also, .08 pts. Crapped the bed big time.

he definitely thought it was a false start not PI
Blount had a nice game for the Bucs yesterday. Just don't piss him off
I'd be taunting that punk all game long begging him to flip his top...what a liability.
Like nobody here has ever been caught punching someone in the face by the media.
