Who did they cut?  I doubt he makes the team anyway.

Holy shtein that dude is 30 already?

Wonder is this reflects on Cooper, Baskett, and Hall...

Not at all on Cooper or Baskett.  Cooper's a Howie draft pick and Baskett is a special teams ace.

Hall's a "feel good" player who has no business being on a team with any shot at making the playoffs.

Most likely just camp fodder

Maybe munson will come along shortly to fill us in, he's seen a lot of Ravens games in the past few years.

baskett is done and not because of this signing

and no one needs to be cut at this point

They do have to cut someone to add Washington.

Decent pickup. A lesser version of Kassim Osgood but a better version of Dameane Douglas and Sean Morey.

why do they have to cut someone...i thought you could have 1000 players in camp if you wanted

because hes a veteran or something?

or is it because they signed him

Jared Perry cut.

Wow, they worked Perry and Washington out together a few days ago, signed Perry and cut another scrub WR, then cut him and signed Washington.

Basically, they probably decided to go for cheaper camp fodder at first and then thought, "Hey, why not add a guy who might be able to play at a NFL level?"

Kelley Washington has about the same kind of tricks as Cooper or Baskett, I think. He's a bigger receiver, and is known for his ST play. So if he makes the squad, it'll be in Baskett or Cooper's spot.

Unless Cooper is IR'd before the season, he's a lock.  Baskett should be scared.  He should also probably be tested for herpes.

I guess they forgot who he was and what he looked like...

In town for a workout today per Caplan.

Bring him back to help the awful coverage units.
