Sure there was B-West's punt return Vs the Giants, 4th and 26, Donovans game Vs the Cardinals when he broke his leg. and i dont think either are technically kelly green....isnt kelly green what you see on st patricks day?...but for purposes of the eagles they wore kelly green from the 50's to the 90's
also those pictures you posted above dont come near showing the true colors of either..im not saying 1975 was the same green as 1987 but they are alot closer than whats posted above

you are right on the knockoffs though. it amazes me how many dopes are out there wearing a bednarik jersey that looks like it is from 1987 or cunningham jersey that looks like a jets jersey in both color and design.
as far as why the eagles choose to go with the unis they did for the 75th aniversary it seems obvious they went with the first colors the team wore. brutal looking but whatever. you would hope if they do have another retro week (which you know they will as it will mean merchandise revenue) that they go with the colors from the 70's or mid 80's to 95.
It would seem to make sense that if they want to honor the 1960 team this year then the would do so with a 1960 throwback. I think it's safe to say that lurie is almost certainly never going to put out a buddy era throwback. Especially since that team didn't win anything.
