Green Bay fumbled the opening kickoff and Calvin Johnson gets a TD, but they lost Pettigrew. Nice start...
Thanksgiving games that are actually worth watching! ;D
Vince Young just led another comeback to beat Matt Leinart :-D
18 plays, 99 yards, three 4th-down conversions and a TD pass on the final play of the game. He finished with 387 yards passing
Tennessee is now 5-6 after starting 0-6 (first team ever to do it)
Reid could learn something about clock managment from watching that last drive
what kind of moron is jeff fisher. vy wins. he may be a bit mentally unbalanced, but the dude wins.
5 weeks in a row Peyton led a 4th-quarter comeback, and with Jacksonville not showing up out west again, Indy clinched the division....the earliest since the 2004 Eagles....
last play of regulation in the pitt/bal game was nuts. baltimore is in range for a 52 yd fg and cundiff's longest is 53. they decide to run another play on 3rd down to get closer but flacco gets sacked, fumbled and bal recovered about 4 yards back. clock still going under 20 sec and bal gets the fg team on the field, snaps as time expires and the kick is about 3 yards short. overtime.
ravens win in ot. john harbaugh is their coach. i'm happy for him.

I live in Pittsburgh. I'm happy for him too.
That was a hell of a game. Can't really say Steelers would have won if they'd had Big Ben in there. I thought Dixon played well.

i can say it
you dont think having a guy who won the superbowl last year with one of the all time clutch drives over a guy in his first nfl start would have made a difference in OT last night
I don't think it would have gotten to OT. The Ravens defense isn't as good this season as they have been historically
Dixon made himself some money last night.
Its amazing how good a play action pass works when you run the freakin ball!!
Hey look, Gocong's little brother is the waterboy for the Pats!
so the Saints are pretty good huh
yeah, it's one thing to beat the pats but it's not very often that a team is able to make them look bad in the process. saints straight up dominated the first half. let's see how well they adjust for the 2nd half.
Brees got up in that ass tonight. And it's actually the second time in Brees' career that he's beaten the Pats by by than 20 points. He's kinda good.
farg da saints

I hate admitting it but damn, they're really good.
The rest of the NFC is playing for the right to get thumped by the Saints in the playoffs.
Are they better than the Greatest Show On Turf Rams?
no way
faulk puts the rams over the top
rams had at least four HOF'ers saints might have one
In terms of professional resume's, I agree. But on the field production in a single season? I think the Saints could be close to taking over that moniker.

Just wait until they are in the Super Bowl and all the stories about Katrina will come out again.
so?
Every network will have the sappy stories left and right. Not looking forward to it
Any time I see the Saints play, it always seems like Brees is working harder than any other quarterback in the NFL. I don't mean that in an entirely good way. Even on short, easy passes it looks like he's putting his whole body into the throw.

besides buffalo and cleveland, new orleans probably deserves a title more than any other city. plus theyre fun to watch. and a brees/manning game will be epic.
that's probably because he never had a very strong arm to begin with and then had shoulder surgery the same offseason that he signed with the saints.

false.
yea im pretty sure after their city was ravaged by a hurricane and the icehole ignorant racist president ignored it, they jumped to the front of the class
farg san diego. they live in paradise.
farg minny. its an icebox, they deserve to suffer.
Minnesota isn't a city. Minneapolis, Minnesota, is less than 100 miles farther north than oh-so-deserving Buffalo.

No one DESERVES anything.
They either fight for it, pay for it, or roll up their sleeves and work for that motherfarger...but no one DESERVES anything unless of course you are talking about an ass kicking, a rape, or AIDS.

im aware.
buffalo is purgatory. it isnt a city, either. those people should get some semblance of happiness at some point.
buffalo often has full sections of its upper deck empty even when they arent totally horrible....their hardcore fanbase of about four thousand fans doesnt deserve shtein
new orleans fans are disgusting bandwagon fans that love a good party on bourbon street when they win but could care less if they lost the superbowl on a blocked extra point
cleveland is so far and away the answer its not even funny
lol @ thinking new orleans "deserves" a super bowl because katrina damn near wiped them out 5 years ago. maybe it would have been cool if they won it that same year but at this point, it's meaningless. that's like saying that the yanks or giants recent championships were deserved because of 9/11.
its a meaningless list, but yes, they "deserve" it more so than indy or any other city in contention right now.

And New Orleans folk know they live in an area that could drown and they still moved there.
What is the point you're trying to make?
that no one should have anything against the city. there is nothing to hate about it.

completly irrelevant
i dont hate people in minnesota, theyre just stupid for living there
new orleans is a great town.
living in minny (which is a pretty cool city) is stupid because...........?? too cold? too close to canada? too many white folk? voted jesse ventura into the gov office?
but somehow living in hurricane alley/below sea level/flood central = great town and is therefore deserving of a superbowl.
never mind the fact that vikings fans have been legit forever and saints fans only started showing up over the last few years.

all of this...and thensome.
shut yer yap, little man.
yea, those great vikings fans barely sold out the playoff game last year and only survived this year cause of FAVRE
i forget what this discussion was about, but lets just say im right so we can move on and have an orgy or whatever
yeah viking fans are frauds....especially for a team that has such a rich history
minnesota seems like a real good place to live if it was in the northeast...i love the cold its pretty liberal for MA...but MA is the problem...who the hell wants to live there....
if minnesota was as is but was located where nj is it would be a super place to live
it also has no visitation value whatsoever
new orleans is pretty much the complete opposite....never would wanna live there but its an amazing city and one of the best places in the world to visit
that said neither place comes even close to "deserving" a superbowl

I was stationed there 6 years, and have to admit the weather is the cat's meow. I loved calling up the family in NY in January and telling them I was going swimming. (In the pool - the Pacific was too damn cold in the winter!)
But the expense, crowding, illegals, and homeless dudes asking for money every 20 feet kinda detract from that.
